My buddy has a place near Harbor Island, probably going to hang out around Jackson’s, American Social to watch the invasion and avoid the parade itself.
Friends house a few blocks away from bayshore then walking to the parade, we'll see how it goes. Just hope the wind isn't too bad but not looking great.
Haven’t been to the parade in 8 years. Feels good to make it 9 tomorrow now the after parties I’m in for
Going to Legoland for my sons birthday. My Gasparilla days ended about 10 years ago. Had a blast in my twenties/early thirties but since I don’t live down there now it’s kind of a hassle.
If the gusts end up as bad as projected wouldn't surprise me to see a few smaller boats get sunk, stay safe.

My kid wanted wings a few months ago so I took him there. First time I realized how expensive chicken wings are now. It was like $20 for 8 wings.
They’ve definitely gone up. Local place in Jax though just made a big deal about the cost of wings coming down and actually lowered their price. It’s not as low as it once was, but I thought that was pretty cool.
I feel like Hattricks is a bit more expensive than similar types of places, but yeah, wing prices have definitely gone up everywhere.
the pollen is just destroying my son with his allergies right now. Miss one dose of Zyrtec and it looks like he lost a fight with how bad his eyes swell. poor guy :(
My yard guy came on Monday and got all the leaves up in the back area that has concrete. You can't even see the concrete a week later. I hate this time of the year. Getting them off the top of my shed and lanai is just a pain in the ass.
So it's a destination wedding in Jamaica. So after doing all that research there was a bunch of blow back about having a destination wedding and the cost of a Tampa trip where everyone would be flying so we're doing Orange Beach Alabama instead which is in driving distance and a lot cheaper (although we've collectively done the some ole OBA bach trip like 10 times already). It has been such a cluster. And I'm the one planning/coordinating everything I do appreciate all of yalls input and it has opened my eyes to Tampa as a destination. So I still don't think it was a waste of time. I'd still like to visit.
In terms of powder white sand and emerald green water, the emerald coast is definitely the best in the country. The Destin/30A area is hard to beat.
My car gets buried by leaves and pollen since my spot for my townhouse is right next to an oak tree. I’m parking in guest spots so my car doesn’t look like it needs to be washed every day.
Any suggestions for a nice dinner and a lunch option (leaning oysters and beer) if we’re between Indian Rocks and St. Pete Beach? This would be for then Mrs and I while we have a parental coverage so aiming to stay close to shore, but also interested in any Tampa spots too for the fam as we’re driving in.
