One homer thru Thursday when I’ve had 11+ each week. Good news my opponent only has 2. Also, have 6 SBs so far and had 0 last week. Fucking variance man
In a odd duck H2H dynasty league (only keep 6) with about 20 categories been trying to get Tatis for about 6 months. Right now the guy has countered my last offer with Julio Rodriguez and Tim Andersen for Tatis. I feel like I’d be ecstatic if Rodriguez turned into Tatis, but that it’s a bit of an overpay even if it’s an overpay for arguably the best fantasy player who also happens to also only be 23 years old. My keepers would be: Tatis, Robert, Teo Hernandez, Buehler, Urias and one of Manoah/Buxton/Bregman/Correa. I feel like it’s a net loss this year but a gain long term. Would you take it?
Thanks guys, I’ve been drinking the Rodriguez kool-aid since I picked him up at the end of last season. I’ve asked a few people for input and it’s an overwhelmingly take the deal opinion everywhere.
Being in the finals is nerve wracking as hell, especially this year, since I'm down but this dude is out of pitchers. Last year I was up like 100 almost the whole time so I didn't give a shit
Went 12-0 on the final week of the regular season to jump my opponent and another guy for the final playoff spot. Lost in the first round of the playoffs. I would say it was a success based some injuries I had.
I've been leading my rotisserie league the entire year. Last night I fell to 2nd for the first time since day 2 or 3 of the season, and unless I get about 3 save/holds today I'm done. The squad has been hitting .200 every day with no power for 3 weeks now. I'm not handling it well.
Ended up in 3rd place, unfortunately. In the semifinal I was up against the top seed and tied 6-6, but he got the tiebreaker. I won the third place matchup like 12-2
I’m down to join a league if anyone knows a of spot in theirs or if there are enough on here to create one. Preferably roto and I’ll pay
I might have an opening in a long running 6x6 AL ONLY roto (5 MLB keepers / 4 minor keepers). would have to take over a current roster it's not for money, but everyone is serious about it
In the middle of a 12 team h2h category league slow draft and it’s a dumpster fire at the moment. I’m awful at slow drafts. I have the 11th pick: 1. Bichette 2. Freeman Very happy after this 3. DeGrom 4. Albies Wheels are coming off here a little. Hitters are flying off the board so I go with deGrom and Albies. Boom or bust with deGrom that isn’t being helped with the rest of my SPs 5. Carroll 6. Buxton Full yolo mode at this point. No turning back 7. Tyler O’Neill 8. Glasnow My OF might play 50 games combined if I’m lucky and my SP1/2 might get 50 innings combined 9. George Kirby 10. Snell Going to be tough to land this plane.
Keepers are due soon in my big money poinrs keeper league. Keep 4 players and they count as rounds 1-4. I was absolutely stacked with young talent last year: P: Alcantrara McClanahan Manoah Kyle wright Rodon H: Soto Devers Goldy Luis Robert Wander franco Already dealt Rodon and trying to deal Manoah. Think I'm going to offload Devers so I can keep Franco and go with alcantrara, McClanahan, soto, franco
I like it. 3B is a little deeper. I do like Manoah though. When you say offload are you trading players for picks? It doesn’t make sense to swap for another keeper.
Yeah just picks. I did try and explore some 2 for 1 deals to upgrade a 4th keeper but nothing fit. I'm probably too high on Wander but in a points league he's way more valuable obviously
For sure. Just need him to get going early. With second year players it’s hard to be patient in points if they start slow.
Decided to go to Birmingham for the NCAA tourney this weekend and I have a draft tomorrow night and I’ve barely done any research. In a 12 team 6x6 roto league with OBP and QS as the added cats. Have a ton of playing positions and pitchers are a combined position. Any guys you would recommend targeting in mid or later rounds and some guys to avoid would be much appreciated.
would be happy rounding out the rotation with a handful of these sp:(fantasypros adp) severino 105 sale 152 d. may 153 luzardo 154 rasmussen 174 g. rodriguez 182 detmers 209 h. brown 217
done a few mocks… OF gets gross real early 3B kinda too 2B is bleak. now with altuve injured… yuck SS is super deep. no need to reach lotta sp value in the mid to late rounds
Read a recent mock where the writer was saying that 3B is has some big time drops so it might be worth to grab one early on. Think that may be a priority depending on how things fall. With draft order.
I can keep 3 of the following in a league that includes walks... Acuna Judge Soto Wander I have to keep one of the following in same league Verlander McClanahan I want to keep Wander but don't think I can give up any of those OFs. I'm leaning Verlander, too. I just don't really trust McClanahan from a health and consistency standpoint, but that all seems really stupid to keep an 80 year old over him.
SS is very deep and you have 3 top 10 OF in their primes. You gotta keep them. Love Wander but you can get equivalent or slightly less value in the draft that you can’t with the other 3. What are you scoring metrics? H2H? Roto?
Nice. My dynasty league changed to K/9, SV+H, and IP a long time ago. It opened up a lot more options for relievers especially. I think Verlander and McClanahan are as close to a push as possible. I would probably lean McClanahan due to ageism bias. I also think the NL East will be much harder on Verlander coming from the AL West than many anticipate.
I too would pick Mac over Verlander due to their ages. But also I have McClanahan as a keeper in my league so I'm biased. My drafts coming up Saturday and Monday, H2H points and H2H roto.
with regards to pitchers to target, this guys sleepers/draft sheet/projections have benefited me well over the last few years (especially the draft sheet): https://mrcheatsheet.com/2023/03/17/2023-fantasy-baseball-sleeper-pitchers/ Super excited for fantasy baseball this year with the rule changes and how they might impact the game. While 3B is terrible & OF drops off fast, I think the position scarcity stuff is being way overblow and it's more people need to readjust their understanding/perception on what stats should be as we come out of juice ball era
Got the 6th pick and draft starts in 40 mins. Likely looking at JRod, Kyle Tucker or Juan Soto. Any preference of the 3?
