Canucks’ (President trophy winners, who finally managed to get over their Blackhawk’s funk) game 7 at home SCF loss after being up 3-2 is still the most crushed I’ve ever been as a fan of any sports team. Not hard to do, though, because my fandom is mainly filled with abject misery.
Avalanche only had 7 total assists on their 6 goals. Not as rare as the two challenges by the panthers last night but still pretty uncommon.
Damn went to bed early and missed out on Kadri shitting all over them racist ass fans glad it happened
Yes that’s trash. They should die in a fire Good on Perron to call it out. Kadri is still a piece of shit on the ice.
You must be knew to hockey if you think 1 night of being an asshole out does Kadri’s entire career of being a piece of shit in one night.
Not new at all just an unbiased fan who is grateful that Perron’s cunty elbow attempt didn’t connect and punish Kadri for an accident that hurt a racist goalie
Ok. He was an idiot hot take kid. He's said he regrets those comments and has shown nothing that indicates he still believes that shit. If you want to still hold that against him fine, but youre still really stretching. Im not going to die on this hill.
Next time you see me framing a POC teenager as an adult in discussing some sort of transgression, you can call me out on it. Or hell, if you can even find me doing it in the past - go for it. Im not some chud youre arguing with here.
It’s interesting this happened earlier in the season. I am not going to make any sort of claim that Binnington is a racist, but he’s exhibited massive douche tendencies multiple times since the Blues won the the Cup. At a minimum he’s an incredibly unlikable person.
it feels like every off-season we get one move that everyone predicted halfway through the season. Unfortunately for you, that appears to be Kadri to Philly.
Serious question has Philly ever declared they are going into a rebuild? Feels like every few years they retool.
no they don't think they need a full rebuild. I'm hoping this is last year in denial and it goes so horribly it ends in last place and Bedard. fire Fletcher and hire someone competent to actually rebuild.
If they shit the bed and they burn it down over the next few years, can the organization recoup a bounty in draft picks and young assets? Teams need to understand a rebuild if done properly can maintain fans interest more so than a team that is life and death to try and make the playoffs.
there are def some dead contracts - Hayes, Risto (although members of the media will swear some teams value him), not sure what value Atkinson has but there are some decent assets there as well. just nothing really worth building around - Farabee, Provorov, Konecny, Sanheim, Hart. Laughton, York Couturier and Ellis are huge question marks coming off of injuries. Couturier's extension kicks in next year and if he's his old self he'd still be very valuable, but if he's not the same that contract could be a disaster.
Pretty sure it's named after the guy who started the club. When I was a kid, most of the kids that were good at soccer went to private schools. Always associated club soccer and esp Gallager w those uppity shits.
The league absolutely needs to crack down on this shit, but also, do it for every player, not just the stats of the league.
This is just so absurd. Tampa, in large part thanks to Vas, shuts down third periods and clinches series like nobody else.
The reason they’ve won the last two Cups (and could be on their way to a third) is that they can win in so many different ways. - Score 1 and lock it down? Check - Get into a 6-5 track meet? Check Whatever the tempo, they can beat pretty much everyone at their own game.
