Also, I was curious on conference realignment RPIs so I ran the numbers on it. Includes number of bids from the latest D1 projection.
This is post-realignment. Texas and OU are taken out and none of UH, UCF, Cincy, and BYU are projected in.
Game one of the SECT just ended, a 5-3 win for Bama over UGA. The third game of the tournament is supposed to start in 50 minutes, but game two hasn’t even started yet and is currently being delayed. Guessing game two gets started around 6:00 and game 3 starts late late. And the SEC just announced that game four today between Auburn and Kentucky is being pushed until tomorrow morning. So that ensures that at least game four tomorrow will be pushed to Thursday.
Apparently, 10:30 is the cutoff time. There’s a guy on the bunker that’s working the tournament, and he said they’re going to try to get it started tonight.
ACC Network showing a replay of BC Spring Game, followed by a replay of the ACC Rowing Championships from 8-10 and again from 10-12. In FL, Bally Sports Sun only shows the 11 AM game live, but you have to go the Bally Sports app to watch the rest. There is a tab for it on the ESPN app, but it looks like it's blacked out in markets where Bally is available. What a stupid netowrk. Way to grow the game.
ACC network, like many of these networks, is a fucking disgrace The legitimacy of this tournament is already highly questionable, so lets make sure nobody can watch it and make it even less popular
It will take some luck just to get the Auburn-Kentucky game in today. And there’s not really a good window to play a game in tomorrow until after 6:00-7:00 PM. I think they should find a way to play the AU-UK game and then switch the format to single elimination. Play 4 games Friday, two Saturday, and the Championship on Sunday.
Look like a good bit of rain over the next two days for the CUSA tourney. Not sure how many games they will get in.
It really is hard to imagine being more self-important than the Whistler. Imagine ruining everyone else’s experience and then getting indignant about it.
The fact he doesn’t get doused with mustard and ketchup every game and run out of the stadium is disappointing. I would never waste a good beer by pouring it on him.
Auburn-Kentucky scheduled to start at 12:45. They might have enough time to get the game in before the next band of rain comes, but I doubt any other games are played today beyond this game.
ACC network gave up the rights to air the tournament for peanuts so they could replay old football games Such a joke
Not the smartest decision by Kentucky pitching. They were dominating this game on the mound and decided to come up and in on a 2-2 count and missed location.
This was before ACCN was a thing. and everyone knows the ACC doesnt have the cash to buyout the contract
How long is that fucking contract? This is like year 3 of the ACCN. They did have Peter Moylan the former Braves pitcher doing the games last year if I remember correctly. It was a cool novelty hearing an aussie call a baseball game. I thought I had some international feed or something.
