cops now walking back that they ever interacted with the shooter at all. dear any cop reading this thread, this is why people have quit caring if you die in the line of duty (and also why some are actively praying it happens to you).
tweet mentions days and weeks after 9/11 and robin williams was in NY by at least sept 17th per a news story in the comments so THEORETICALLY it could be true
You want to believe it’s fake but you also don’t want to believe someone would use a time like this to try and get internet fame by using this tragedy.
Well they don’t need logical consistency to court voters so it’s whatever. Just need the little R next to their name.
Not your fault and we all have done it. But yeah, if a tweet is too good to be true, chances are its fake. but “positing shit as I come across it” is exactly how misinformation is spread. They’re banking on people doing exactly that
That cancer guy is like buff ruffneck been shot 78 times had stage 4 cancer 36 times been to mars etc
This is fair, but I got the same reaction when I posted my ordeal because of the absurdity of it, so I can understand some pretty insane shit can happen, so I usually just go with a story with a grain of salt until it proves true or false.
I like the post below it where the person says if my kid hit someone with a stick I wouldn't blame the stick but I damn sure would take it away from them.
He is about to get dragged in the comments after posting a thank you tweet for the support this should be fun to watch him spin.
also, since we're all doomscrolling, mosey on over to the Bad Police thread to check up on what the pigs are doing to human beings in Brazil.
My "not involved in the shooting of children" shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.
Get as many of them on camera saying shit like feral pigs then run a national campaign ad with their voices as one by one the faces of those killed by assault rifles takes up the screen — slowly fading to the next. A gunshot is heard with every new photo.
It's just a joke to them. We've heard every canned response this week, and probably a few new ones. Not one bit of empathy felt by any of them.
It's me, the political elite in Washington DC who 100% understands the feral hog situations in places I'll drive through without a second thought.
any self-respecting cop in Uvalde is in the bottom of a bottle of whiskey by the end of June and dead from self-inflicted GSW by September.
I just looked it up so you don't have to: while a woman died from a feral pig attack in 2019, there have been only 6 *documented* feral pig attacks on humans since 1825 (that didn't involve hunting).
Fighting chuds one FB post at a time. After earlier highlighting the increased accuracy of a long rifle over a pistol due to avg recoil Him: "First of all, AR-15 are NOT an assault rifle (technically speaking, assault rifles are Fully-automatic weapons which are illegal to own unless you have an FFL license). They are no different from a semi-automatic pistol with a similar capacity clip and caliber. Ballistically speaking, rifles are better for long distance shooting, typically encounters are within 25 yards which suffice for pistols or hand guns. (There is statistical data supporting this)." Me: "you sound like you fancy yourself a gun expert, and you speak of mag size and round caliber ("They are no different from a semi-automatic pistol with a similar capacity clip and caliber)". Speaking on the similarities of things without denoting their factual differences may fool dumber people on FB, but it's shit my teenagers try (and fail at) quite often. Won't work today, sadly. The .223 round in most ARs (assume this was not a 5.56 but I don't know @ this point) is actually slightly smaller in diameter than a standard 9mm pistol round. I assume most typical folks you argue with will stop here and feel like they got owned. Alas, I'm not that guy. For an expert you mysteriously leave out a very material item when it comes to weaponry: First, of course, the bullet type matters quite a bit (FMJ? Hollow? Soft?) Secondly, the kinetic energy of a 9mm round shot from a pistol at range X will be roughly 75% LESS than the kinetic energy of a .223 round shot from a long rifle at same range X. In addition, the crush cavity caused by certain .223 rounds dwarfs that caused by a 9mm round of the same style. That fact increases the internal damage caused to the target. It's not a super popular gun for hunting (other than varmints, but there are FAR superior long rifles for killing little critters). It's dogshit for home defense (length of barrel makes it a bitch around corners, low maneuverability, etc). They serve 2 purposes (1) fun shooting at ranges; (2) killing people. There is a reason these tough guys don't use the mini-14 (except for the 2003 attack). NOT COOL LOOKING ENOUGH BRO. NOT MANLY." I highly doubt there will be a response.
All these republicans who went to Uvalde to fluff their feathers are feckless trash and have been for years.
Long story short, if I shoot you 2x with a soft point from 20 feet with a long rifle in .223 and 2x with a 9mm soft point from the same distance (assume glock, XD, whatever you like I guess) unless I am HIGHLY skilled with that pistol my odds of hitting what I want and tearing giant holes in a body cavity are WAY better with the long rifle. Plus grr manly me rambo! etc This guy, like many of these shooters, was a novice. Hitting shit w a pistol is hard, especially in the moment. Soldiers and cops miss frequently and one would assume (cough) that they are more skilled than this 18yo tinypeen fuckhead ARs are for dudes with a war hardon. Simple, really.
