Haven't seen it anywhere yet, but also keenly on the lookout. Wouldn't mind kopping an extra if I find. Saw polos too on the women's team page
I’d put it at 5th of my favorite courses in the Phx area that I’ve played. You’d probably quibble with me having We-Ko-Pa ahead of it at 4. Silverleaf, Mirabel, and Whisper Rock Upper all smoke it. I’ve never understood the whole dirt moving argument. All I really care about is how the course plays and not whether the developer had to spend an extra 2 million on dirt moving. Seems like something for people on the internet to jerk off too or bitch about. Definitely agree that commercial/residential properties can detract from the course/experience, but that’s more aesthetic than anything. Glen coming in at 29 in Illinois per Golf Digest seems about right for a KFT event given the number of great clubs in the area - good but not great. No prestigious club would host that event annually.
Negative. Heard great things though. The only courses I’ve played in the valley are Whirlwind and Talking Stick. Trying to set up a Desert Mountain/Silverleaf trip, which will get pretty silly.
I have but it's been probably ~8 years ago and unfortunately I don't remember the name of the course. I do remember it was a part of a neighboring resort and it was designed by Greg Norman or Faldo or some shit.
Lol I mean it actually was I just don't remember the name of the resort or course. It was a stereotypical resort course, so real wide fairways, not too long, and on the easier side. I remember it being in super nice condition and hardly anyone there. A handful of the holes were like 50 yds from the ocean.
Connor Norman Just opened up Google maps and figured out the course I played. It was this one... https://www.golfplayamujeres.com/
Not as severe but happened to me once in a US Am qualifier. Luckily they changed the pin in round 2…after I four putted for triple on my 2nd hole in the first round of course. Super fun to be out of contention 25min into an 11 hour day in the Texas summer heat.
Playing 1’s, Houndster and mines favorite course in Omaha tomorrow (kill me). I’m on night 4 of 6 in a row, buddies wanted to play and it’s the only course that makes sense logistically for me…you know besides suddenly getting a membership to champions or players.
Taylormade irons, Callaway metals, next your going to tell me you have ping wedges and a cobra putter.
Titleist 2 iron with Vokey wedges coming. Taylormade putter. I'm learning it's dumb to worry about your entire bag matching. I'm hitting this Callaway driver soooo much better than any driver I've ever hit, including the Sim Max I had before it. Same with the 3W.
caring about a brand without a sponsorship is stupid. hit what you like. brooks koepka won 4 majors without a club sponsor.
If you're referring to Stone Creek...I don't have much of an issue with it. I mean of the 27 hole public courses in town, it's last imo but it's not terrible. If you're talking about Miracle then yes, kill you because that course is garbage.
TBH I would not give a shit about pace of play at Pebble. So in between shots you get to stare at the Pacific Coast and a bunch of mansions. You are paying a lot of money, might as take it all in
It was a joke. Driver: Titleist TSI2 Fairway : Titleist TSI3 Irons:4-PW Cobra Speed zone Wedges: Taylormade Hi-toe 48/54/58 all same length Putter: Cameron phantom x5
Yeah I knew it was a joke. Just felt like explainig how I was dumb in the past about everything matching when that wasn't what was best for my game
