Just watched the first 15 minutes of Batman and Robin, the prequels are amazing, holy shit how can anything be that bad, it felt like watching a school play
First episode is solid. It sets up a plot that makes sense which was my biggest concern. Too tired for ep 2 tonight.
Follow up the Taika move with the Feige film. A good 1-2 punch is what the franchise needs (on film).
More gritty? Like more of the the opening sequence of the show and less of the cheesy rooftop chase scene of a 10 year old? Or maybe I'm expecting a lot from a disney show?
I’d be down for a new character tho. Plus why tease that in the first trailer? They didn’t reveal Bo Karan in any of the trailers last year, I think.
Apparently that video for Ahsoka cuts short. Live action Sabine is shown looking at the mural of the Rebels crew.
Not that I'm ready to see it end, but I hope, when the time comes, they wrap up his story with a satisfactory "ending." I don't need a vague "he might show up later" sort of ending. I'd like to see a definitive conclusion.
Mando dies and Grogu turns to the dark side. Jon Favreau’s manically laughter can be heard from an evil lair somewhere.
And he uses that little ball/knob thing from the Razor Crest to do it. Force projects that thing right through her temple.
Basically the scene from X-Men First Class where Magneto slowly pushes that coin through the guys skull. That's what I'm envisioning.
Star Wars needs to stop putting their minority actors in no-win positions. I'm not blaming Moses for her charactor being over the top in the first two episodes. That's a failure of the writing and the directing. Maybe that's something that eventually gets explained, but so far, it's a pretty universal opinion in this thread that the character of Reva is "too much". Fuck this fanbase for their continual failure to place the blame on the right people for the shortcomings of this IP. Fuck this fanbase for continually subjecting these actors to racist attacks. Fuck all of it. Same shit as Rose all over again. Not her damn fault that her character was horribly written/developed.
