Valverde initiated that sequence with Benzema offside. Valverde into Thiago into Konate but it was still starting with a touch from a guy on Madrid with a Madrid player offside

Agreed its not egregious, but Thiago is intentionally playing that ball, so regardless that it “deflected” off him he’s trying to play the ball so it was an active touch last by a defender and should have been onside.

 

Except that’s not what happened. Konate tackled it into Fabinho and Valverde.

How do you go your entire explanation and not once mention Fabinho lunging in for a tackle? Is that act not playing a ball on purpose or did he just trip and fall there?
