https://www.cutwaterspirits.com/canned-cocktails/ Anyone have these bad boys? Been sampling them all winter on the mountain. Love some of the high ABVs. my personal ranking 1) Mojito 2) Whiskey Mule 3) Peach Margarita 4) Vodka Mule 5) spicy Bloody Mary 6) Tequilla Paloma 7) Mai tai 8) regular Bloody Mary 9) Tequilla Margarita What I can’t wait to try: Mango Margarita, Strawberry Margaritas, Huckleberry Vodka Sprtiz, pina colada, gin and tonic, tiki rum punch What I want to try out of morbid curiosity: Long Island Iced Tea, White Russian (14 percent ABV),
Went to a beerfest last night and the lady and a friends lady both complained about some of these. Not sure what they got poured. I've had the plain marg and Paloma and thought both were solid for canned cocktail type drinks
I've been the distillery, some of them are straight up awful. Your list looks about right from the ones I've tried, bloody Mary and the margs are pretty terrible. Mojito is very good though.
My god. 14 percent. So tasty. Not sure anyone on earth should drink more than one. So happy I got to try it.
have some Strawberry Marg Cutwaters in the fridge for an upcoming weekend. I also got around to trying High Noon's pool pack. Guava is pretty good. But Kiwi is DELICIOUS. Moves to the top of the board along with pineapple, peach, and passionfruit
marg isn't the best tasting, but you can't beat that 12 percent. look for the mules next time. I am on the lookout for Lemon Nooners. I have heard good things. Last flavor I have yet to try
Will do on the mules. it was a 6 pack mixer, so i figured a good way to try them. Trying to find alternatives to heavy IPAs while golfing, grilling, etc
Got the best ones I could from your list bro Peach Margarita Vodka Mule and then went for the Mai Tai. Will report findings later.
I had been making White Russians with another San Diego born alcohol, Skrewball Peanut Butter Whisky, as a floater.
my wife likes the pineapple and mango. I drink the rest I still say the original corona flavor pack are the best seltzers out there
Cutwater is based here in San Diego. Love going to their distillery/restaurant for happy hours. Mojitos are my jam. Just excellent stuff. Glad to see more Cutwater love out there.
This thread had me thinking about them. Went to lunch with some friends in Encinitas then we went to the distillery. First time there. Great spot. Had a couple craft cocktails, which were delicious. I wanted to try the canned espresso vodka martini. Limit 2 per customer at 20%/40abv. Unfortunately, they were out of that one. Tried the old fashioned one instead. Tasted like an old fashioned. That’s my review.
I enjoyed the Mai Tai, have had much sweeter out. Strongness caught me by surprise. Peach marg was aight not a huge marg guy more got those for the wife. Vodka mule very solid. Gotta find them white russians liquor store I went to didn’t carry them.
I prefer their spicy Bloody Mary to most bloodies you get at a bar, to be honest. Hated the Paloma. They have a grapefruit vodka soda I enjoyed. Marg was fine, nothing special.
Switching between cutwaters and waters while doing a landscaping project I have no business attempting today. What’s done first the project or my drunk ass? Drunk ass the overwhelming favorite.
Pop the top on a vodka mule, place in freezer for ~20 minutes. Perfection. Did it with Mai Tai as well. Both much improved.
Yup, I’m doing yard work and have been putting my current open one (and when its close to next one) in my shed freezer. 20+ minutes and they’re balls ass cold with ice chips.
First week of restricting my drinking from Friday happy hour to whenever I stop partying on Saturday. Currently drinking the 14% White Russian while walking the dogs around the multi million dollar houses I can only dream of living in.
