I guess A&M-Alabama has become the new LSU-Alabama when it comes to CBS picking favorites with their prime time doubleheader The 2022 SEC ON CBS schedule totals 15 games, including the SEC Championship on Saturday, Dec. 3 (4:00 PM, ET). This year’s SEC ON CBS schedule begins on Sept. 17 with Auburn hosting Penn State. The annual rivalry game between defending National Champion Georgia and Florida will take place on Oct. 29. In addition to the traditional Saturday SEC ON CBS Game of the Week at its familiar 3:30 PM, ET time slot, there will be a primetime SEC doubleheader on Oct. 8 and an afternoon SEC doubleheader on Nov. 12. SEC ON CBS games are announced six to 12 days prior to their broadcast date.
I'm just busy with work/life and for some reason I just don't give a shit about baseball right now outside of checking the scores each day.
I'd also say Bally/MLB.tv's restrictive nature of being able to watch is annoying too. I can't get my TV working on nord vpn so the only way to watch is from mlb666.ir or whatever it is then cast it and I don't care to do it. I watch on a screen sometimes if I'm working at night.
Ideal start time for week 2 at Slaw. Catch those necks before they even wake up for the day. A lot of beer and bourbon have been spared from consumption with that noon kickoff for UGA. #South Carolina Gamecocks
I just want a big month long public fight about which 3 teams everyone gets. Is that too much to ask?
My permanent rivals in the 3+6 method. Only real sacrifices in this one are Bama vs Miss St which has been played like 115 times and we don’t get Florida vs Auburn back permanently. South Carolina is the toughest to figure out cause Georgia is their only real rival. Alabama - Auburn, Tennessee, LSU Arkansas - Texas, A&M, Mizzou Auburn - Alabama, Georgia, Miss St Florida - Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina Georgia - Auburn, Florida, South Carolina Kentucky - Tennessee, Vandy, Florida LSU - Ole Miss, Miss St, Alabama Miss St - Ole Miss, LSU, Auburn Ole Miss - Miss St, LSU, Vandy Missouri - Arkansas, South Carolina, Oklahoma Oklahoma - Texas, Mizzou, A&M South Carolina - Georgia, Mizzou, Florida Tennessee - Alabama, Kentucky, Vandy Texas - A&M, Oklahoma, Arkansas A&M - Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma Vandy - Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kentucky
Curious as to if they do go to the 3, how much A&M is going to cry their way out of having to play Texas every year... Its probably one of the most obvious permanent matchups that should happen.
I think that one comes down to who LSU wants. Ole Miss and Miss St are LSU’s oldest rivals, so those should be a given. Then it’s up to LSU to choose between Bama and A&M. A&M makes a lot of sense seeing as they have played over 60 times and with how much LSU recruits Houston, but the Bama game has been taken to another level over the past 15 years.
You never know how things would play out over the long run, but from a competitive balance standpoint, LSU getting both Mississippi schools would be a big advantage for them; getting A&M as the 3rd permanent opponent on top of that would almost certainly give them the easiest rotation out of all the big budget schools. Ole Miss, Alabama and A&M for LSU fits nicely within the "2 big, 1 small" paradigm but I'm sure that has a bunch of ripple effects that may be more trouble than they're worth. But it allows for my desired schedule so I'm hoping for that.
They need to go 9 games. 8 is stupid and 6+3 allows you to play the entire conference H/A in 4 years. It just makes more sense. Less cupcake games the better. Would suck for UGA/UF/USC since they have better permanent rivals than everyone else. Auburn will take Vandy as our 3rd perm opponent to balance out UGA/Bama. Also, move UGA back to November. Fuck this stupid October shit.
It's so weird, I can't stand it. And it means we play Tennessee in November now which is equally odd.
Hopefully they can get the schedules back to normal and also for Au have Bama/UGA alternating home/away vs being the same each year
Georgia is South Carolina’s 2nd most played game in their history after Clemson. That is going to be their first choice of permanent games, and I’m guessing everyone will get their first choice.
