Who do you want? I really don't care as long as it's not Goldy. Just don't need another 1b only guy. I'd be cool with a SP, not many really good ones honestly.
If you don't think a Devers over Perez wouldn't drive the price up and hasn't historically I dont know what to tell you.
All cards drive the price up. Doesn’t matter who it is. If they run the program the same way, it’ll still make all the cards high, most people will be completing through to Rice. Collections will be required. That said, still don’t know why you care? Do you own 3000 TN cards? Also for the record I don’t care how anyone enjoys the game, it’s your time to enjoy the game. You just seem mighty on edge for a monthly award that won’t be in anyones lineup in a month.
I own quite a few topps now cards yes its how I make stubbs to finish collections. I'm not sure what I've said that has indicated I'm on edge. I said a Perez card would suck, which imo would.
Honestly I read that earlier and briefly skimmed over it thinking it was a new headliner or some shit. George Brett won't be a top 3 3b in the game yet he's the huge collection? Awful.
They better juice the shit out of that card. He hit .390 so his contact should be maxed but only 24 HR so power won't be great if they don't juice it. And considering power is everything, the card blows if it's not juiced. Pujols, Glaus, and probably Tatis would be better. He'll be a slightly better Joe Mauer.
How do you get the Jered Weaver 94 overall Prime card? His card says Better Late Than Never event under location but I don't see it in there and I got 20 wins.
I haven’t played in some time, but that Glaus card is garbage for me. Most swings are just automatic roll overs where Devers takes everything outside to the opposite field, with power.
Yea personal preference. I raked with Glaus, especially vs lefties. He's not in my lineup anymore bc I play Pujols at 3b and Acuna in LF.
Gotcha, weird his location says that event. Oh well, not spending 30k on him. I have enough prime, I think.
Don't think this is correct. I just checked 10 cards and none of them said that event and the event has no player restrictions. Like I just checked David Price and it says "Big Dog Program" bc he was part of that. I think it shows that bc he was in headliner 16 pack and you get a headliner 16 pack st 5 wins. I didn't pull him though.
Gehrig program is up. Full program is 50 stars and gets 6 normal packs, headliner set 9, bat grip, bat, 86 All Star Salvador Perez and 92 All Star Gehrig
7 moments at 4 stars each 500 PXP with Perez - 10 stars 250/500/1000 with Yankees - 2/5/10 10 HRs with Yankees - 3 Exchange Yankees/Royals (15,000) - 3 Exchange AL East (30,000) - 6
Brett usually has a nice swing but not the best power. I don't remember maybe it was 19 that he had a 99 ovr card I really liked. But yeah doesn't move the needle for me as much as Mo or anything last year. I have nowhere near enough cards to complete collections tomorrow anyway. I went about 10 days without touching the game until yesterday on top of that. Went through this morning and bought some random legend and flashbacks that I hope will jump in price. Unless the collection isn't as difficult as I'm expecting, I'll most likely sell off as much as possible tomorrow so I can finish live series with the NL East and West.
Spent 45-60 minutes knocking out all the moments and then played 3 games of mini season with all Yankees hitters and with Mussina/Cole/Cortes starting with King/Chapman/Rivera from the pen to knock out the PXP and then did exchanges. Now selling off anything extra of Yankees/Royals and have made over 15K in about 20 minutes
