It's not just losing Carr and likely Moore. It's mid-June, we came out of Moore's recent visit likely in 4th place there, and UM still hasn't recruited a single other QB in the 23 class because it's "all in" on Moore. There's zero back up plan. And that's after a year when they took two QBs who are more likely to play LB and TE one day than take a single snap as a real QB.
Holland has been saying Carr is good, but overrated for a while now. And especially compared to Moore and others in the 24 class. And maybe some of that is because ND was considered the leader, but he says similar stuff about UM commits because he's an asshole.
https://n.rivals.com/news/new-futurecast-for-five-star-qb-to-michigan Well if this actually happens, seems like nd and Michigan are both out for moore. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.
futurecast for Michigan, visited this past week, is pissed at Osu for passing on him for raiola, visiting again on July 31st and plays with Jonathan Goodwin’s(former um and nfl ol whose his high schools ol coach) son. Weren’t there reclass rumors with him and Osu?
Yeah. He was our #1 QB target for a while there before Raiola wanted in. Has that JJ McCarthy/Kyle McCord feel to it all over again.
Who gave the future cast? If it’s a Michigan beat writer and it doesn’t turn out to be true, we got a nice little stew going.
Hate it when some rascal hacks the account of a HS football parent to like a tweet disparaging a university. It's a rampant problem in today's society.
"nobody wants to go to michigan to hand the ball off 30 times a game" a factually correct statement if i've ever seen one
Seems incredibly prudent to decide your college future on those seven pass attempts. #teamCarr #LloydEraBestEra
well we haven't gotten into the fact their OC/QB coach sucks and harbaugh is a weird motherfucker. it's pretty easy IMO
It's a ridiculous story, but I feel bad for her and the family for all the shit they're going to get from UM people. Hoping for their sakes they can just stay off social media about it, but it's going to be hard for them not to until whenever it is he gets to ND.
Offered him and the Baylor commit. I think the offer to Glenn was more of a “hey come camp” offer since he was supposed to be there this week but then canceled. They definitely want a 2023 QB but I have no idea who it’s gonna be.
This Ohio State/Tennessee situation with Carnell Tate has reached the point where Vol fans record videos and send them to his mom.
Some good quotables from ex-players about Kelly lately about that game. Apparently everyone was trying to tell him all week it was going to rain and he didn’t change game prep whatsoever. Just went into it expecting clear weather and to win through the air.
