And even though he’s a real shithouser on the field, he might be one of the biggest humanitarians in the Premiere League
The sense of relief I felt at the final whistle is up there for me in terms of sports related emotions. The swing in emotions from halftime to full time is what people love about sports. That being said, I hope to never be that close to relegation late in the season again. Whatever happens with Richy I’ll always love him as a player, similar to my thoughts on Lukaku.
Richy has never jerked around the fanbase by mentioning a team he wants to be transferred to every international break like Rom (at the behest of Mino Raiola I’m sure) would do.
That Ayew yellow is straight cheating by refs. I don’t know how you can ever see that and think “yellow, yup that seems right”
Yeah, Lukaku definitely can say some dumb things to the media (see his comments about his desire to return to Inter after just a few months at Chelsea) but I just enjoyed his play on the field in an Everton shirt so much. I also understood his desire to play at a bigger club at that point in his career when he left for Man U.
Ryan Williams said on the American Toffee podcast that Allan has had a sports hernia he’s been playing through and why he couldn’t play after Liverpool game. Makes the Gomes decision make a little more sense with not being able to go all out on attack for 90 minutes straight. But lord, was Andre garbage last night
I like that podcast. Started listening at the very beginning before Ryan joined. I just cant stand him. Especially on twitter. It's like he's god's gift to soccer analysis and you cant even bother to question him
I don’t particularly even like the podcast. He’s analysis isn’t really all that good, but he’s been right about Iwobi. if this is correct info it makes thing have a perspective that makes more sense.
He picks players to have extreme biases for. He has a man crush on Iwobi. When he plays poorly it's because he's not being used the right way. When he plays well it's "See i told you!" Conversely he always goes out of his way to criticize Gordon and Gray. Gordon is 19, being asked to do a shitload and has been on of the few that have been putting in max effort and been dangerous down the stretch. Of course he's going to make some bad decisions or some forced errors. Chill out dude.
Has to be an American if he gives Gordon a hard time. You have to be in your mid 20’s and give the ball away more than half the time for Evertonians to start badmouthing a homegrown lad. If Man U gets de Jong, I think we should go after Fred or McTominay to fulfill the role Gomes failed at filling.
This is my unpopular opinion, but Gordon hasn’t had even a decent game since Chelsea. He’s very good at getting to the right spots, but has had zero end product. Now, I know he’s still young and shouldn’t be in that spot to begin with and has been overused since January. Im glad he learned the lesson of hard work from Carlo, just hope he learns the lesson of what to do better up the field from Frank.
Didn’t say he was the master I teaching hard work, what I said is that is the lesson Gordon learned from him. Lack of hard work on defense is the reason Carlo gave for now giving Gordon more PT
He is rather adept at getting players to work. I was just wanting to shit on James. Does he still play? If yes, does he know who and when his teams next match is against?
Watch the celebration of the 3rd goal and see Doucs get absolutely trucked by someone. Btw he probably should have won MotM 17 takeaways is INSANE. He’s the reason Wobs and Dele got to be so far forward.
Transfer window hasn’t even opened and I already want it to be over with. My blood pressure spikes whenever I read or hear the names Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin and Pickford.
i think we have to sell DCL for the money, I don’t he’s very good tbh……his technical skill is dogshit, he’s not very good at finishing when it’s not off a random body part….think he needs to go to fund the rest
I will not allow anyone to blaspheme our almighty savior regardless of what one might think of his temporal footballing abilities, When the apostle Demarai delivered the holy cross to St. Dominic, the lad came through and absolved us from our sins. Even if you don't think he belongs at Goodison Park, he very well belongs at Godson Park.
which is why we need to do the Un-Everton and sell the hero when his value is the highest to fund our weak spots plus his skirt and purse line would do better in London
Sounds like we're getting Tarkowski on a free and offered the wages needed to sign him. Can only improve that back line though his PL leading 11 yellows last year is on point
Just a 4 year deal on huge wages for a 29 year old? Seems like a typical Everton move but yeah he will help short term
Short term help on a team that conceded 66 goals is welcome imo. And hopefully like other CBs his shelf life is a bit longer
Oh, a preseason achilles injury would be the least surprising thing ever. But his prowess on set pieces is sorely needed so slight optimism abounds
We certainly can’t afford Tarkowski to take as long as Keane did to adjusting to life as a non Burnley CB.
And the possible 14+ mil per season is a just behind what big 6 are pulling in, so that’s a great number
JJK to Hertha Berlin, all in on the Patterson train I guess. Or try and find Seamus an anti-aging elixir
