Yeah I'm not trying to bag on you, sorry. There's a big difference between not knowing something and then being all "oh ok i didn't know that gbr" and stubbornly quadrupling down. You're not the one doing the latter
Just come out and say you were too scared to go in, and that your fear cost the lives of children. Being scared is a normal human response, covering your ass, while also a human response, is far less forgivable than the fear.
Ailoi, here's why I'm probably not alone in having some undismissable low grade suspicion you're kind of a covert republican. Your brain does republican things. Only apropos that your handle is an homage to your notion of covert mayonnaise. In a remarkable feat of ignorant, loutish tone deafness, you blurt "she didn't have cardiac arrest" when, perhaps unbeknownst to yourself, you have no idea what you're talking about. Enter people who do. Nope, you're just gonna remain obtusely tethered to your ignorance rather than say "ah right on." You're either blissfully unaware of how ignorant you sound, or you don't care. Those are the two kinds of republican brain.
I'm certain I don't care about your suspicions. I have an idea though. I will ask a simple "yes" or "no" question, and if you answer "no", I will concede my abject wrongness. Deal?
hes not a republican hes just a sad bitter person who enjoys the dopamine hit of irritating people we've all been there
Nothin cooler than going all 2008 "u mad bro?" in a thread about 19 dead kids. Sorry I had a fight in the middle of your black panther party. I'm mad, bro.
The only way you could remotely say “She didn't experience cardiac arrest” is if you think the mother is lying about what her Drs said. You certainly aren’t standing on any relevant knowledge of medical science, or details about the case, to come to that conclusion. Nothing in the two articles are evidence of her not having cardiac arrest. Pretty simple.
The point is that you don’t know what happened because you don’t have access to the patient’s chart. All you have is the secondhand reporting of a distraught parent.
The article, nor the parent, also don't mention anything at all about MI. Because of course they didn't. The parent's not confused. Aioli is.
Mother's statement indicated that she was at risk of going into cardiac arrest, not that she had actually lost consciousness, heart function, and ceased breathing. They would have been doing compressions and ventilations and probably used an AED in that case. It's a lot more serious than "near heart attack". Which is what I based my statement on. If the articles description of the incident as being "a near heart attack" is inaccurate then I retract my previous statement, but that's what it's based on. hth.
So you in fact don’t know if she went into cardiac arrest or not. Which was exactly my point. So yes, that did help. Thank you.
The article that was linked is a summarization of the People article. I pointed this out two pages ago, and it says as much in the Yahoo article that was linked.
Well I'll give you a nod for your hard work, but none of it changes at all how face-palmingly dumb and wrong this is
I thought people might be alarmed that she had gon into cardiac arrest and received to discover that she hadn't, like I was.
Yeah but it's more likely she did than didn't though. Do you realize that yet? Or are we still working on the CA vs. MI thing?
Sometimes, I don't really understand this place. Like, I accept that everyone is extremely annoyed and angry at everything I post. Like obviously I'm fucking up everyone's experience, right? Well, I'm not gonna stop posting here, I enjoy it. So why don't you guys ban me? I've literally asked to be banned numerous times. I fucking never donate to the site. This should be a slam dunk. Yet...here I remain. Maybe this will be enough? idk...
who have you asked to ban you i enjoy posting here to annoy people but i also ask to be banned regularly is tough to square
Hey guys like I said I'm really sorry to shit up the thread but someone erroneously dismissing that kid's near fatal response to her friend's death is just too, too shitty for me to be cool and mature about. I'll try to do and be better
