Stamkos absolutely prevented Igor from a chance at making the save by knocking his glove Edit: eh looks like contact was made after the puck was behind his glove.
The fact that Gallant didn’t even try to get it reviewed for interference pisses me off so much. There’s zero chance they score another in regulation.
Dude who just got to the bar and claimed he played D1 hockey (very skeptical face) was adamant it wouldn’t stand. Thank you for your support.
It wasn’t a kick, which Toronto immediately looked at. But Gallant could’ve, and should’ve, challenged for interference.
Good series #Tampa Bay Lightning . Your defense totally shut us down the last 3.5 games. Go get yourselves another one.
Haven’t been able to verify, but someone on my Twitter posted Shesterkin had the highest GSAx of any goalie in postseason history per Moneypuck. Good for him. He deserved better.
Happiest of birthdays to grandma!!!! Vasy with zero military experience would shit on every nepotism dumbfuck general Putin uses.
Hopes for the Rangers off-season… - Move one of Trouba or Panarin. Bring in a legitimate 2C that can drive play 5v5 - Re-sign Copp and Motte. Let Strome go. - Try to get some cap space in moving Georgiev, Gauthier, Hajek, and/or Nemeth. A garbage can in return will suffice - Let the kids develop Hope to be back next year.
i would not move panarin, the lazy comparison is kucherov for playoff success but even if he is never that type of player you still need him and guys like him do not grow on trees.
I just can’t justify paying a guy $12m per year to totally float during the playoffs. He was basically a power play specialist and then a 5v5 black hole in every single series. There are a whole lotta great moves the Rangers can make with that money, especially considering the young wingers they have currently and in the system. They desperately need a top 6 center.
Mika No 2C (Copp and Strome both free agents) Chytil Goodrow Rooney Literally nobody in the system One could argue neither Copp, Chytil, nor Goodrow are even natural centers and would be better suited on the wing.
Good series Lax. You guys have a lot of young talent and Igor is incredible. I had a bad feeling this was going to be a game he stole as it stayed 1-0 late in the third. Cirelli’s line felt like it was getting a grade a chance every shift and he was there every time to make a stop. The Ava will probably be the toughest test for the Lightning in their three runs. Vasy is a clear advantage in net but the Avs are such a complete team..was not sad they were taken out before getting to the final the last two years. It should be a hell of a series, gives me 2015 vibes where now the Bolts are the veteran group going for their third cup and the Avs are trying to get their first with their core. If Point is back and Kadri misses time that’s going to help the Lightning in the center matchup. Makar is going to make me nervous all series since he just yolos out there. Cirelli will have his hands full with Mackinnon. I can’t wait for Wednesday.
If the GMs in this league actually had a pair, an offer sheet for Kakko seems inevitable. There’s a good chance the Rangers would only get a 2nd round pick out of it unless they moved a major contract to fit him.
100% depends on Kuemper as long as Vasy is Vasy. Wanna say with drunk memory the Avs dominated the games this year. Idk when our deal with the devil runs out but Vasy being there just feels confident.
I want Colorado to win, but I’m glad Tampa made it. Two worth teams vying for the cup. Not sure I would have felt that way if Edmonton or New York advanced
Honestly no clue. It’s going to have to come via a trade given this upcoming free agency cycle. They just *have* to finally address the center depth, because it’s been the obvious hole in the organization for years.
