Probably watched "Woody Crayon" 50 times in the span of a few months. The kitty angel never fails to crack me up.
Same. 3 ended so perfect, I didn't want them to make 4. My daughter saw it and told me not to watch it so I haven't. Only other Pixar I haven't seen is Cars 3.
Not best, what is the funniest Pixar movie? I think I gotta go with Monsters Inc. Mike Wazowski/Billy Crystal might be the funniest main character in any Pixar movie.
I would agree. Him spraying disinfectant in his eye after boo sneezes on him will forever get a laugh out of me. All of the Toy Story's are pretty funny at times as well.
Yeah the Toy Story's are up there, it's tough. Finding Nemo is pretty funny but I deduct points for most of the jokes being around Dory's shitty memory.
I just watched inside out for the 2nd time (1st time in the theater) and wow did it hit harder. When it came out my son was 3 and daughter was newborn. Now 9 and 6, really makes it a great film. Not really a kids movie plot at all, as my daughter wasn’t interested at all, but the movie is great for an adult.
No doubt. Monsters Inc. and Monsters U. are #1 & 2 for funniest (and you can put either in either spot IMO). My favorite part is at the very end when Mike is bombing in the kid’s room doing stand up. “It’s great to be here in your room. Where’re ya from?”
Just watched it with my kid. Without question the woat pixar movie. Audience RT scores are pretty bad.
My kids have watched it probably five times since last night. (We had awful weather today and just let the tv rip.) They have no idea what it’s about, just that red pandas are their favorite. Side note…real red pandas are the COAT animal.
Wife, 2 year old and I love it. If I had like a 6-10 year old not sure it would be for them. I guess the target audience is like 11+?
RT doesn't do a good job of capturing meh reviews since pretty much any review over 2.5 gets a fresh rating
I really enjoyed the movie. Not a top 5 Pixar or anything crazy but I laughed a lot and it had a good Aging "Up" type montage that got some feels. Definitely better than most of the recent pixar movies. The cat robot companion was great cheap comedic relief and the Norwegian dark haired guy from Westworld had a pretty funny character as well
pretty much this Spoiler laughed like hell at the kid at the register warning me about the lesbian relationship. apparently they had complaints and had to issue a few refunds because of it.
I was pretty high upon arrival and I think I know when it happened but I was writing something on an order card so I didn't even see the kiss that caused all the hubbub. The cumulative lesbian interaction in the movie was maybe 15 seconds... Spoiler it was during the montage when he kept doing trials right?
Took the kids to see Lightyear. It isn't in the top tier of Pixar movies but it was nowhere near as bad as Cars. Not sure how people are saying it ruins Toy Story for them.
There was a lesbian couple in Toy Story 4 but yeah the Fox outrage over this movie is just for clicks and segments on Tucker.
Made the mistake of reading a reddit thread on "Lightyear crashes at the box office" thread and the people in there actually pissed me off pretty good. At least 50% of the negative comments about the movie the person either outright stated they haven't even seen the movie or you could tell they hadn't by their post Way too many complaints that Tim Allen wasn't the voice of Buzz because they didn't have the mental capacity to realize Tim Allen was Andy's toy and this movie didn't have Andy's toy in the MFer And a decent amount were obvious far right trolls who came into the thread solely to say something like "Disney's force-feeding us LBGTQ material" and again hadn't and won't ever even watch the movie to realize the lesbian interaction accounted for maybe 15 seconds of the movie. Maybe a half dozen comments I saw where the person actually claimed to have watched the movie and just said they didn't think it was fun/funny. More than one mentioned being "from a Christian household" in the same post, which just tells you they went in expecting the movie to upset them and probably have the sense of humor of a lawn chair
