Is that the prospect card that has outlier so throws like 102?

Ehhh he's not THAT good. His control is shaky on anything other than the fastball. His Sinker is nasty but no clue where it's going. He's good, probably going to stay in my rotation, but he's not on Randy's tier.

Faced Randy for only the third or fourth time in RS a couple days ago, obviously he was kicking my ass because I’m dreadful at the plate, but hung in there down 2-0 going into the 9th. Got a seeing eye single from Peguero and then Devers hit one 430 feet. Don’t think I’ve ever felt more :smug:

I gave up a walk-off dinger with my first pitch in extras

His card has definitely gotten worse over the last update. I was raking with him, now I’m just hitting high flies even against righties.

Done with the missions and showdown for Always Intense program, just need to do the moments.

Really hoping I get top tier from set 1 for Crawford and then I can probably have Brett this weekend.

Will work on the moments tonight/tomorrow along with wrapping up the conquest and the new division/FOTF missions for featured program

Finished Always Intense. Got higher tier on set 2 but not set 1

Finished conquest. Up to 744K XP. I’ll get 12K from missions still, 13K from mini season I’m about to finish and 5K for collecting Walsh. I’m assuming they’ll throw up double gameplay XP at some point so I’ll finish the program even at 1M XP

I’ve been tempted but the nice thing about offline is that with my health shit, if I suddenly have to run to the bathroom and throw up, just pause

You can pause online and you have 3 minutes to come back. And if you need longer, just take an L and start another one. I have lots of L's from being called to dad duty.

Yea you have a timer at the top. Not sure exactly how it works, but it replenishes during the game. If you pause in the 1st for a minute, then play a few innings, you can pause again and it'll be back to 3 minutes. So it goes back up as you play the game.

Online matches you up with people on your level. That's what's so good about it imo. Sure I can rip off like 6 straight wins and hit 805 but them I get slapped back to reality vs a really good player.

Oh yea read it wrong, thought it said "don't use these". Yea I use them. Can't remember which thumb attachment I use, not sure there's a huge difference in them. I started with the variety pack on rings but hard is the way to go for me. I've even stacked a hard and medium on top of each at times when I was really chasing shit out of the zone. Only problem then is the stick is too firm to chase balls in the outfield. I could only move it enough to get my guy to jog lol. I will admit I did that on my 800 level game and just took the rings on and off between half innings. It ruined the rings bc they aren't exactly durable but was worth it to get the W lol. They wear down over time so I put a new one on every 4-6 weeks bc the material just flakes and rips over time.

I have about 250k stubs and not sure where I should put them. Seems like the Future Stars cards are all at 10k, quick sell. Shoukd I just buy a bunch of those and hope they go to 15k down the road? If they don't, I can quick sell and get my money back?

Oh I know. Last year I would play RS and I would either win the games 1-0 or lose 1-0 with a combined 4 hits in 9inn. That killed 21 for me.

Decided this year to stick to offline or coop

Collect them. Those will always be an auto voucher once you have them, not like they’re going to add many future star cards, unlike the other collections.

I smoked him everytime I faced him in the last event. Something about his release point being high and all his pitches going north > south (slider doesn't have a ton of movement compared to a lot of top SPs) makes him easy for me to hit.

Could also be related to the starting stamina making SPs a little easier in events than full games

I have a lot harder time hitting Brash because his release is so far outside and every pitch has lateral movement to account for

I used the green one for Show 21. I would have to basically "trim" bits from the top/bottom left/right corners to be able to get the PCI centered on dotted pitches though. The PCI Anchor feature really negated my use for the foam ring. Anchoring it at the top corner of the pitchers release point = if you go all the way down on the thumb stick, the middle of the PCI is on the bottom edge of the strike zone for most batters, so the over-correcting and hitting under the ball all the time isn't an issue for me in this game.

I also played with one of these on the left stick last year and still do and legitimately cannot bat without it:

XB sticks are concave on the top so if you wanna use just the tip of your thumb you have to put it on one of the inside edges. Nice convex top on the stick attachment has a lovely little nipple to put the tip of the thumb on and feels much more in control for tiny PCI movements. Slightly elevated thumb stick on that side also helps with over-correcting for me because you have to move your thumb more to get the same amount of movement.

I have them, don’t like them at the moment. At a point it felt like it pushed me further than where I wanted to go. But at a certain point I won’t be able to hit and I’ll use them again. Life is a flat circle.

Fairly slow day, only 53K XP so up to 797K and close to big dog set 2.

Bought Maddux, Pujols, and Crawford so now 1 player away from Ruth and Brett. Either Morgan or Delgado and I’m about halfway there.

Will wrap up week 3 missions tomorrow along with daily missions from today and tomorrow then I’ll only have showdown and gameplay XP until they release something else.

Will continue offline through the weekend for sure and then maybe next week try out online

I got to 792 then went L-W-L-W-L-W-L-L-L. Every game I was 790+ I matched up vs a 900+ goon and got my shit pushed in. Down to like 730 now and doubt I can get to 800.

    Ranked seasons and events.

RS was OK. My team was way better and he quit at 1-0 in the 6th

Events was miserable and I lost on a walkoff
