The first and fourth poorest states in our country have spent the most money on Jell-O shots the past two years. While Rocco has single-handedly elevated Nebraska into the top-10 wealthiest.
First of all, we are 6th poorest as a state. However, NWA has more money than 99.9% of the country. Our fans always travel well, party well, and we will compete in any and everything (unless it’s football). Pretty similar to Ole Miss, except they don’t get to Omaha that much.
Yep that’s the SEC (for the most part). Do whatever you have to do to make that a pro-Razorback environment. Made my biggest baseball bet of the year, and Arkansas can make me a little richer by winning it all. Will even prob let out a WooPigSooie or whatever if they pull it off. For the next week, I’m a temporary Hog fan.
If this ends up being an Arkansas/OU matchup for the title I’ll be pulling for the earth to open up and swallow the stadium whole at first pitch
if it’s any consolation y’all are by far the best team we’ve played but the biggest crop of douchebags as well. Take that however you wish
I’m not quite at this level but I’m close. Also never thought I’d root for Arkansas in any situation yet here we are. Hell I’ll even buy the Jell-O shots.
Let me preface not at 4.50. You’re not taking advantage of me. I wonder how much is Jameson at this establishment?
Probably still doing okay considering JB Hunt, Tyson Foods, and the hundred or so Wal-Mart associated businesses headquartered there.
My mind was elsewhere while reading this and somehow I read this as NWA dropping a new album. And then I was even more confused on what a 1970’s tv show had to do with it.
Yes it is the 2nd largest state with plenty of stuff for everyone would anyone be in Arkansas if it wasnt for the first family of capitalism slumlords?
You don’t dominate anything, especially off the field unless it involves jars of bodily fluids. Just go away weirdo
So y’all are throwing Elliott, a freshman lefty that’s been throwing really well lately and has a 2.8 ERA Arkansas throwing Will McEntire who took over as our #2 toward the back end of the season and has a 2.8 ERA. Both bullpens fully rested. Should be a fun one
Just hoping for a W today. No expectations of making a run from here but would like to at least get one W in Omaha
DVH doesn’t announce anything until an hour before game time, but I’d be shocked if it wasn’t McEntire and then bring in the lefties Taylor and Smith out of the bullpen
Yeah, really sucks how we don’t get to play every SEC east team. Tennessee and South Carolina didn’t face us this year. We didn’t get to play Vandy last year until the SEC tourney either.
Had some YouTube “recommended” video come up the other day that did a tour of Arkansas. That indoor facility was sweet/huge.
He started against Ok State and pitched like 3.1 shutout innings iirc. Probably wanting to take advantage of Ole Miss’ struggles against lefties and he’s a RS Senior and an arm you guys haven’t seen. He won’t go deep, but we’ll have Taylor and Hagen Smith available in relief to throw all the lefties we’ve got at your lineup. Wiggins lost his SP job due to control issues. and Hagen moved to the closer role. Those were our #2 and #3 starters all season, and we started getting hot once we switched up the rotation. edit:
Morris was the start that made the most sense and that I felt the best about. He’s been our most reliable reliever overall. Taylor and Tygart have struggled recently. McEntire can pitch and definitely has the gumption but his “stuff” doesn’t stand out really.
