Race was a lot better than I thought it would be at the front. Safety cars made it interesting. Leclerc couldn’t have asked for much more.
That was a really fun race… Ferrari is probably super happy all things considered. But they really need to figure out how to trim out that massive back wing. It’s killing then on the straights. Nice step forward for Mercedes. Lewis easily handled Russell after the SC. Yuki… so embarrassing
Shades of Merc vs Ferrari 2019 Monza with the DRS not helping against Red Bull. Carlos needed a mistake from Max and that wasn’t happening. Shame Checo went out. He could’ve made up ground this race.
Amazing how Sainz was 20 kmh faster on the back straight and still couldnt get closer than a .5 sec gap
he’s nearly a second behind at the detection point… so he closed half the gap. Max won the race because he crushed sector 1 and 2
Fun race. Not sure what Aston was doing with Seb or what Alpine was doing. Haas so disappointing Happy for Zhou Yuki has had a decent year until that Max’s consistency is unreal.
I’m of the belief that Checo’s retirement was an inside job to keep him as a clear #2 to propel Max for the rest of the season and win the World Championship.
Apparently this was about the FIA allowing a new floor to be installed to help curve porpoising on Thursday and somehow Mercedes being ready with that floor in 24 hours something no other teams was able to do because it's impossible to turn that around in that timespan.
My Brother in Christ, are you OK? I'm more worried that Spa might be out of the lineup next year than the 3rd place team politicking.
Pretty sure Toto was telling Horner about an amazing authentic Spaghetti Bolognese his wife made, and Binotto overheard and flew in in a blinding rage
