Working the same match with the same guy 5 times a week is the best way to stay healthy: Vince McMahon’s column
I want to believe it’s Claudio, but you should announce that tonight. Tony doesn’t have a great history of big announcements, so I can’t imagine him promising a surprise on Sunday is going to lead to many buys.
Aussie Open is so good. I've seen them a bit in some international promos but they need some more run in America, those dudes ar elegit.
Can we let Malakai Black do something other than Death Triangle…I have no desire to see any combo of those six again any time soon
i don’t know who Josh Alexander is, you can replace Danielson with someone that everyone won’t go apeshit for
weird when they actually announce the big dudes how much more interesting the card gets. It’s got juice now.
Sting and Shingo teaming up in 2022 is wild as hell. But what the hell, are we really not getting Naito?
And don’t get me wrong, there were always going to be a bunch of multi man matches. I just hate two of the biggest matches on the show being four ways.
Sure. But also just do Page/Okada and have them go thirty. Have zero desire to see Cole in any matcu at this point, let alone one like this where he clearly is the odd man out imo.
Hot take: I've never watched NJPW so I had never seen Tanahashi wrestle before, but what he did in that match tonight looked like pure dog shit. Does he wrestle regularly still? Is he a part timer that may have rust? He just looked slow and sloppy the whole match.
My friend, you must've never seen a New Japan show. Lots of multi man matches, they cram a shit ton into one show.
No I watch New Japan and I know they do plenty of multiman tags. They hardly do triple threat or four corner matches though. Doing two for titles at this show is lame, understanding each side wants to jam the show with their guys. There are better ways to do it.
Fair. But I accept the fact that if they’re truly having top guys go against each other, they need somebody in there to take the pin.
I have been watching wrestling on and off my entire life but with in the last 6 months or so I've really got into it and started watching AEW (for the first time) and WWE regularly. It just blows my mind how much better the creative side of AEW is compared to WWE. The matches are SIGNIFICANTLY better as well.
