Fanatics Prizm came along with three mosaic hangers. Said I wasn’t opening but came home drunk from golf and couldn’t help myself. Panini needs some quality control but not complaining overall.
Hopefully for his sake it gets sorted out. Not sure how you lose 1 card from a 50 card sub. I've heard good things about CSG so this is a little disappointing BUT given they've had an increase in submissions lately a screw up was, unfortunately, bound to happen.
Some guy was selling optic contenders boxes for way below my cost on whatnot so I bought four boxes. Got a fields RPA redemption /25 and a Zach Wilson auto. Along with a Trask auto and a Davis Mills auto
Much better than the the one I saw that opened a box with absolutely nothing in it. I'd be so pissed.
Best place to buy one touch cases? Just got my first auto patch booklet and want to keep it protected
If you have a local shop they probably have some. Otherwise go on ultrapro’s site Now show us your booklet.
ripped three Prizm blasters, only notable pulls: Javonte silver Davis Mills disco Javonte jersey card
I mean don't make me defend panini but there was nothing unusual about those boxes other than they were duds
if you don't want to gamble, it's very easy to buy what you want, and for a whole lot cheaper than hunting for it in boxes
i just collect ND guys honestly, so i don't buy many packs. my favorite football player is a dickhead (aaron rodgers) and i don't collect his cards.
I really hope there’s a point where the prices of wax come a little back to earth considering single prices have dropped so much. Not saying like $100 hobby boxes everywhere, but $300+ for Bowman hobby’s are stupid.
You would think/hope. But it sure doesn’t seem like it matters at the moment because so many people are willing to gamble
unfortunately it has zero to do with what the cards inside are worth. It's simply what people are willing to pay. For example, a Trevor Lawrence RPA (Glove relic) vertical /10 from Flawless sold for $2,231 yesterday. So you pay $9,000 for a briefcase of Flawless and you get a monster hit. And that monster hit doesn't even pay for 25% of the briefcase. That's an extreme example. Flawless briefcases are quite possibly the worst thing to buy in the hobby. But it doesn't stop people from doing it. Including close friends of mine who I beg not to do it.
Prizm is better. It's still a losing proposition, but there are many cards you can hit that would cover the cost of the box. There's still craziness involved. For example, I bought a Mahomes Stained Glass yesterday for a couple hundred more than the cost of a box. Stained Glass are roughly one in every 5 CASES. So one in every 720 packs
Also if you want a good bang for your buck purchase Topps Chrome Women’s Champions League. Small checklist full of the top names with a lot of them being RC’s
like I said. Losing proposition. Similar to the flawless TLaw I posted, glove relics aren't as valuable as patch relics. Same as Red Wave's aren't as valuable as other parallels. An unnumbered silver auto sells for way more than a Red Wave /149
there are boxes like this that are much better "investments" than the mainstream stuff. Topps Chrome UEFA CL hobby boxes and Lite boxes are similarly good value
I get it. But my point was, the chances of getting a card in a box you pay $1000+ for are so slim that it’s ridiculous. Obviously you can’t always make your box back, but the opposite side of that coin shouldn’t be 75% loss
Agreed. WoSo is just the new hotness at the moment, and after watching/being in a few breaks, it’s pretty solid.
Gone are the days of selling a Clyde Edwards-Helaire RR optic preview for $300 from a $5 Donruss fat pack.
my biggest issue with football cards is that WRs are criminally undervalued. If WR cards were worth more, then the cost of boxes wouldn't be such a tough pill to swallow
Football cards having only QB’s hold value is dumb as hell to me and why I never got into it too heavy.
