Pistons want Duren and with Grant gone, Julius Randle can fill that void. Spoiler It’ll probably be Toppin or Quickley
Everyone has been linking Sharpe to Portland, but I think Daniels is the better fit and should be the pick. He can help now and is more of what they need, IMO.
i'm excited for sharpe, personally. he and simons have somewhat of a similar path (both never played in college and are strong athletes) and we've had good success with developing shooters unless we're trading dame, we also wouldn't really need much of daniels' point skills because dame doesn't play off ball all that well (in the sense that he doesn't move like steph).
It became too much work to keep track with so many Kentucky players in the league so I just stopped doing that
I don't think Daniels is a PG. I think he's perfect as a wing on a team with a big time scorer next to him to handle it. I'm all in on Daniels as a player. If NO takes him to play with CJ, Ingram and Zion (theoretically), he's terrific in that situation as a defender/passer who can maybe learn how to shoot.
I was out on him for a few days after the cheerleader thing, but I'm going with it being an accident because he's just too fun to watch.
Daniels looks like a bigger Lonzo to me. Not a PG in this era of the NBA where your primary guy has to score 20+, but can bring it up, move the ball, defend, rebound, etc.
Anyone else think Chet Holmgren has Marfan syndrome? He has such crazy proportions and his skull/face looks like what is often a symptom of the trait as well.
I'm not as big on Sochan as some others, but that fit is great for him. SA has had a ton of success over the last 15 years with frontcourt guys who can't shoot, but do everything else. Granted, they had Duncan, Parker and Kawhi for a lot of that, but at least they won't get him and tell him to stand in the corner like a lot of dumb teams would.
