85% of Miami’s draft picks over the last 20 years never play for them. We don’t even bother learning their names until year 3. Spoiler that’s a completely made up stat but it feels possibly accurate
I know the second round of the nba draft isn’t the biggest deal, but…why do they have the second round happening at 1215 on the east coast?
As always a big thanks to MG2 for being a great thread creator and may you always start the draft thread And congrats on the great night for the Pistons
very happy with the #Portland Trail Blazers moves the last few days dare i say summer league championship
It’s hard to argue that someone who went in the first round made a mistake but I think he should have came back especially with JB and JJ leaving. It’s easy to say JJ and JB made mistakes after they weren’t drafted. Oh well wish all 3 luck.
Rick Brunson has been on every Tom Thibodeau staff and he was one of Leon Rose’s first client, the only surprising thing is that it took this long for the Knicks to hire him.
beamed a little when I saw Portland got an A+ for Sharpe, that feeling diminished when I saw Golden State's A+ for Baldwin
the second worst grade was given to a pick that he felt was made 1-4 picks too soon, while an A+ was given to another pick for a GM “out of respect for having the guts” to trade up to choose a guy who was rated 10-20 spots behind where he was picked.
Michigan played CSU in the tourney and I felt that Roddy stood out. He didn't particularly have a great shooting day but he did all the annoying little things great like a timely offensive rebound or two and some great assists. But yeah A+ lol
Yet he gave Pistons a B+ for Ivey and then wrote this in the analysis (gave Pacers an A for Mathurin next pick and A+ to the Trailblazers for Sharpe) "Talk about a dream fit. They’ve got to be thrilled about arguably the best guard in the draft falling to no. 5"
