That was an amazing ending in that I loved that Hedman wasn't rewarded for skating so slowly to the icing again and Kucherov SCREAMING while standing at the bench unable to get a new stick
The Lightning should’ve been called for about 5 more penalties than they were in the second period, so I’m not sure any complaining is deserved at this point
These refs were fucking awful, but the better team won. It's been a good ride these last few years. Congrats Avs, enjoy your run.
Never seen a team get away with so many penalties as the Avs did this series, and I was rooting for them as a Red Wings fan, so that should say something. Absolute brutal officiating heavily tilted in Colorado’s favor.
Throughout the series, I think it went in Colorado’s favor. But in this particular game, you have a player two handing an opponent in retaliation and his teammate clearly shooting a puck at a referee after a call, with neither being disciplined. The Lightning were extremely fortunate in the second to not be in the box the whole period.
felt like Lightning got the favorable whistle in maybe one game but the rest seemed tilted towards the Avs who didn’t need any extra help w their speed
Sure are spending a lot of time on the refs when Colorado was the best team all year and the postseason. They won a game 7-0 in this series. Relax folks
Kinda don’t want to hear the lightning of all teams complaining about officiating especially this game. But the important thing is the best team won. Congrats Avs.
Yeah, that's exactly what happened. He broke it and was skating around with it for a while, everyone thought it was icing so he was late to the bench and the equipment staff turned off
Yea. They can fuck right off with all the hilariously favorable officiating they’ve gotten the past 3 runs.
with even average goaltending this run would have been absurdly dominant, better not give kuemper shit this off season
Best two teams played for it and best team won. Also don't think I've ever seen a skate blade fly off like that.
