Yea I'm not sure what they offered before here but everyone here seemed excited about. They give you a year after birth to use it and you can split it up as well. And of course if both parents are Nissan employees they both get the full 16 weeks.
Yeah I get 10 and then supplementing with 4 weeks of vacation with 2 weeks of company paid shutdown. Everyone thinks I am crazy but going to be so happy I did it once our little one arrives this week.

And I get lawyers that are good people that have dedicated their lives to something that it has now been plainly revealed is a farce. I get the reflexive urge to defend the system. But it’s failed. It’s had all of its shortcomings laid embarrassingly clear. We need protection from the people seeking to do us harm. Those people are more and more just Republican politicians and their voters. Protection isn’t coming via the courts. The courts are part of the problem. It all needs to go.
