Just played with my five year old for switch with the split joycons. Loved it. And he doesn’t even care in out killing guys like 6:1. i think I’m most impressed with the gameplay upgrades like special moves and how easy turtle has its own unique move set. but it’s all intuitive. Is Casey Jones something you unlock? I know he’s playable but not sure how
If I were going to purchase another PS5 controller, which should I get? I know we have some controller heads in this thread.
The new controller colors have a noticeable difference to the original white one especially in the buttons and sticks. Well worth the extra 5 bucks mostly play Rocket League at a fairly high level which really punishes the sticks and still no change after 4 months.
If you still have a working one and have possible interest in a pro type controller, wait to decide when they reveal that (hopefully soon)
The nostalgia and childhood memories of the arcade TMNT and playing on Nintendo make that game worth every penny.
So barring god of war actually releasing this year..with the thin AAA lineup this year I gotta think TMNT should get Game of the Year looks. That’s my hot take
Upgraded my storage with a 1 TB SSD. Had a really hard time pulling off the cover and unfortunately one of the plastic tabs broke off in the process. Cover still went on, but I think a piece may have fallen into the console because I heard a rattling when I picked up the PS5 to plug it back in. I am sad now.
Finally convinced myself in getting a PS5 (disc version.) Should be here in a couple days but I have a couple questions. will I be able to use the external storage unit I have for the PS4 to the PS5? Are all the games both digital and disc for the PS4 able to be played on the 5 and is it a seamless process to do so?
Yes, and yes. I have my PS4 external drive plugged in to my PS5, you can play PS4 games straight from that, and you can even store PS5 games on there, but you can't play PS5 games direct from the external drive, they have to be on the SSD. And my son plays lots of disc-based PS4 games on the PS5 and has had no issues, and digital is just as easy, no issues at all
Do the graphics of the games automatically adjust to being 5 quality? For example, I bought GT7 digitally for the 4.
Had no problems getting the Horizon bundle from Target pick up a few weeks ago. It was still available for pick up hours after I got it, too. Not that bad anymore. So far am enjoying GT7.
Finally bought Shovel Knight on one of the last PSN sales, just played it this morning. So damn good.
Picked this up. Best Buy is having a sale for anyone else looking for one. hoping it’s as easy to install as it seems. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-bla...i9-CsPbsXOV3L4MM3tsaAr04EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
It’s gonna take a magnificent effort for that to happen. I know it’s not your bag but Elden Rung does exist
I'm sure all the Elden Ring fanboys will disagree but even GOW '18 is a better game in my opinion. Better gameplay, better visuals(despite being 4 years older), better story(by a damn mile), and I'm a big fan of Norse mythology. I will give Elden Ring the exploration though but that's about it. I've actually played Elden Ring a good bit and it's definitely my favorite From game but for me there is still something missing from it. And don't even get me started on performance. There games have never been the most technically sound.
Saying 2018 GOW is better than Elden Ring is not a hot take (I disagree). But the issue is this is a kinda short development cycle between games and the question is how much of Ragnarok is truly new and how much is just a newer version of everything from GOW. A lot of people feel like it needs to have more than just a new story and location to challenge Elden Ring for GOTY
