With respect, I kind of wish you guys would stop saying this about songs you think are super easy because not everyone's musical experience is the same. 1 second of a song you might have heard a few times but don't really know isn't always the easiest thing. I mean, this one is over 40 years old. One of the only times I'd expect basically everyone to get it is if we got "Can't touch this" as the first segment.

I did get it in 1/6. But it doesn't make what I posted any less true - I could ask all 20 of my work colleagues what it is and I'm not sure 3 of them would know. Maybe none of them would.

I agree with you on that - that certainly makes a big difference, no doubt It must be a cultural thing and the song is much more of an American icon than in other countries like mine. I've just checked how it charted around the world and it definitely wasn't big outside of North America (see attachment). That said, I'll bow out of the discussion. You guys are all in agreeance so I'll take the L on this one.
