Yeah there is no more pac conference. There’s no world or combination of teams that will be able to compete with the sec and big 10 (I hope they still call it that) in terms of money. They’ll gobble up the tabs they want and everyone else Is left behind
Only way this makes sense if they expand to like 18 teams and do a B1G West of like USC, UCLA, Oregon, UW, Utah, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Iowa and put the others in the East or something No NFL team would sign up for 4 cross country trips in 8 weeks, let alone a college team
If the B1G keeps a semblance of their research institution requirement, those schools aren't welcome.
USC to the B1G was rumored a few months back, but was supposedly squashed due to contractual reasons. Sounds like the lawyers figured it out.
Let’s move to the soccer construct bottom 2 teams in each super league are replace with top two in the lower league. Keep it spicy
Sedrick Irvin commits to Stanford Excited for the thanksgiving 2026 game where he rushes for 175 yards and they have two 6'6 TEs hauling in miracle grabs and we're wondering how this can be happening
Also a really interesting ticket activation alongside the whole Irish Wear Green thing New type of season ticket for $500 each called the Shamrock Pass where you get two side-by-side tickets to every home game but the locations may differ from game to game
Yeah they’ve done this with basketball on a smaller scale the last few years. I love the idea for sure
Still so weird to remember scalping tix vs Arizona State during the Davie era and only being able to get in the stadium for $200 or more. Now they’re giving away season tickets for $500 a pop. Wild how that market has shifted so drastically.
If we can keep our TV contract (a big if, right?) and our B1G West conference would be like USC, UCLA, Northwestern, Nebraska, Iowa, a couple more newbies (Oklahoma? Stanford? Cal? Oregon?), and we get to play UM and/or MSU most years ... I think its time to go B1G
I knew this was coming so I prepared a witty retort ahead of time: It’s getting harder and harder for anyone who invests as much time following this stupid sport as I do to consider themselves smart
As part of some sort of NIL fund, I’d like to propose that Marcus reads our in-game posting on video and sends it back to us. I’ll donate $100 per post. $200 for IHHH specific posts
what's that you say? ND can do whatever it wants whenever it wants to? Of course they can, THEY ARE NOTRE DAME!!!!!
honestly BC already feels like a big10 school to me, think they would have to find 1 other school as well for it to make sense though
***whispers so softly that I won't get tomatoes thrown at me by the whole thread*** I'm glad Dante didn't commit to Oregon on his visit because if this throws the Pac 12 into turmoil, hard to see him committing there any time soon.
Team SEC here - Having OSU friends I have seen for years what a B1G schedule can look like and it's miserably boring
as much as I like to make fun of this situation and Dante moore for being a pussy ass bitch(jk) I would also welcome him with open arms. Moore 23 and carr 24 is the absolute best case scenario and always has been.
i can't lie, all these crazy updates about Dante at Elite11 are making me feel all warm and fuzzy towards Dante again...I'm all aboard the Dante for 23 and Carr for 24 train again after burying it in the ground 3 weeks ago
oh, i forgot to mention that Dante was the On3 and 247 MVP on Day 2 and he absolutely killed it again today (Day 3)
