My crytpo obsessed (see:libertarian/conservative fence rider) acquaintance sent me this. Excuse that it’s from some RW Twitter account but this angry lefty lib speaks truth
Kamala is one of the single worst politicians I've seen in my life. People need to quit trying to make it happen.
Is the biden admin just purposefully making kamala look completely inept to torpedo any future career in politics she has? like who the fuck wrote that speech
The Democratic party leadership needs to be put to pasture, they are too damn old and inept. Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, Harris, Tom Perez, Hillary, etc. The whole lot of them are feasible, feckless and cowardly (actually I think that Hillary hates the GOP more than any of them but still a no from me dawg). Lowkey Mayo Pete has been the shining star thus far in this milquetoast administration. He at least is well spoken and seems to meet the moment during interviews. We need so many more younger leaders elevated in the party.
Has he been? The airline industry has been fucked for like a year and it seems like Pete is pretty mum on the issue.
I think he has been pretty vocal about his criticism of flight cancellations. He also imposed fines on an airline about a year ago for not issuing refunds. Idk, I guess the bar is pretty low and he doesn't put his foot in his mouth. This party's entire apparatus is too fucking old and its nice to have a younger person involved.
You guys think Pete can somehow solve the massive pilot shortage post-COVID lol? Airlines are fucked for the foreseeable future. ALL airlines are significantly raising pay, especially for year one FOs, as well as captains, to get in new talent. Shit isn’t changing anytime soon. This spun an already yuge issue into a catastrophe
No. Where did all the pilots go from before covid? Airlines fired or laylid then off....they just in other industries? Cargo?
There were warnings long before Covid of projected pilot shortages as the current set aged into mandatory retirement.
Yeah. But covid and the posters above seemed to exacerbate it. Working for a client in the airline industry and there is talk about going to one pilot per plane. Have a second "remote" pilot to take over in case of emergency or assist during take off landing. Can spread the remote pilot to more planes. They think it'll start with cargo planes first
No one is going to give up their spot. If someone wants the throne, they have to take it. If they can't bring the coalition together within their party to do so, they're not ready.
Seems like a no lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk sign would be a much more cost efficient solution.
Can't wait to read his blogs scribbled on a rock when we're in the gulags. 'It wouldn't be so bad in here if there were fewer beatings.'
At least Obama had the decency to wait until he was out of power to send the feckless tweets begging other people to step up
