Attaching yourself to a maxed Zion after he has shown no ability to keep his weight in check and is constantly injured is a losing bet. I get why New Orleans had to do it, but no way in hell I am trading for him.
NO would probably try and trade Ingram I would think. Especially since KD and him would probably play the same position.
That's a really interesting deal. Brown is a steal for that kind of money, but he also needs to be used in ways that utilize his skill set in order to be that valuable.
No reason he should be an nba player moving forward. Not sure the Hornets can avoid a tank year now. Hope LaMelo doesn’t get too frustrated.
Really like the Brown signing. Nuggets ownership gets a little redemption after everyone skewered them the past few days for ducking the tax
Has Silver had any response? maybe I missed it but it seems NBA media are ignoring this which is messed up
thought Bob Myers would try to run it back w the more experienced players but seems like he is gambling on the Youth movement and Wiseman. thought 2/3 of Loon, Otto, & Payton would be brought back
Hopefully Loon still comes back. I know that GP2 and Otto were both clutch but they are somewhat replaceable with Moody and Kuminga coming along and needing more minutes. Loons skill set and rebounding in the playoffs was something really special. Not thrilled about it but will feel much better if Loon stays, obviously.
Otto brings more offense but his injury risk is higher , they had to manage him and he still missed playoff games w injury. I would have brought back gp2 and Loon they must be seeing something w Wiseman behind the scenes to go this route after a title , especially when a 60+ Win Phoenix may add KD
Murray KCP Brown Gordon Jokic Looks like a really strong closing lineup for Denver. Three plus defenders and good enough shooting around the league's best pick and roll pairing
Not sure but there are definitely more plus defenders on the roster than any other time in the Jokic era
I think they wanted all three, but it seems like they are finally hitting a salary limit. My preferred order was Looney >> Payton >>>>>> Porter. The Payton loss stings but that would run the team, what, $200 million over three years? Is that right?
whatevs...don't hate it, don't love it...maybe now he'll stop handling passes like they're greased bowling balls
And taking the dumbest fouls. Dame Simons GP Grant Nurk Still an undersized and horrific defensive backcourt. But GP helps and Grant if he's trying is a capable defender.
That trade seemed pretty straightforward to me. Utah is shedding parts, and Brooklyn was not expecting the trade demand.
He was building to a point, but was trying to find a way to tie what he was saying to the Lakers and he failed to do so.
