Yet, you’ll see the Australian open and US Open getting absolutely bashed for the same. This match is literally a national disgrace for England.
You should be able to find video of it. Pretty spicy. They talked for like 45 seconds at the handshake. Had to do with the Italian player’s late grunts
Nadal seemed pretty annoyed that Sonego was lobbying to have the roof closed for no apparent reason; especially when he was two games from taking the match. Once they resumed play Rafa was immediately broken and after a point he called Sonego to the net and was basically lecturing him (possibly about hinderance). Sonego took offense.
Why didn’t tsitsipas get a penalty for hitting a ball into the crowd? Is that what nick was mad about after second set? Nick clearly as some legit issue as he seems totally incapable of focusing for a full tournament but he can play with the best of them.
Threw some money on Badosa and Rybakina. Feel like both of them exhibit physical skills to dominate, just need health and some luck.
I don’t think nick is bipolar but he’d greatly benefit from a good coach and psychologist to channel shit. I honestly think he gets bored. He’s beaten all the top players when he’s losing to someone he considers inferior he loses his shit. The problem is that the someone’s he’s playing are all in. I don’t think Nick is even half way committed to winning. But his talent and natural abilities are off the damn chart.
That’s what he was mad about, yeah. A lot of Nick’s antics are a defense mechanism. He tries to project this attitude of not caring but that guy fucking loves to win and hates losing, and drums up all the circus to take the focus off tough moments and stuff going against him.
Yeah thats my thought about his nonsense also. Lowers expectations. there should have been a penalty. Hitting a ball into the crowd is a joke.
3 service games for Niemeier and Watson got 1 point. It was on a double fault. She just has to start breaking Watson and should cruise.
Maria knocks out Penko. What a moment. Penko not exactly a graceful loser, and the crowd letting her hear it.
Maria would've moved from #96 to Top 55 Niemier would've moved from #108 to Top 60 If points were a thing at Wimbledone
That’s too big a number for the form he’s been in lately, but Novak on Centre Court Wimbledon? It’d be as big an upset as we’ve seen in years.
