Everyone who fights Adesanya, insists on fighting his fight. He just baits them into it. He establishes range and just picks guys apart. I’m not wasting my time on watching Rd 5.
Anybody who pays for this shit is a dumbass. Card had potential and it was such a snoozer. Nobody wants to fight.
I've said it before I'm tired of watching Izzy headline PPV's, he's one of the best ever but his fights have become so boring. It was legitimately the worst fight of the night, prelims included.
dana had no problem making izzy the highest paid fighter outside conor why? his fights lull you to sleep. such a boring fighter. hopefully alex takes off his head again
There really needs to be some kind of revision with weigh-ins. Not just for MMA, but for all sports that use weight classes. Maybe you have to weight within a % of your walk around weight. Force people to report weight weekly, or something.
All of those things and same day weigh in. These fools wouldn’t risk a weight class to be completely depleted hours before a fight.
Uh that’s literally why there aren’t same day weigh ins in boxing anymore. Someone died because they fought dehydrated and brain couldn’t handle the impact
O'Malley is a shit bag. Munoz is getting harassed/threatened by a bunch of juggalos.. https://www.mmamania.com/platform/a...his-family-score-payback-ufc-276-eye-gate-mma
Quick picks: Pretty evenly exposed to Lawrence and Kakhramonov. I could see either scoring 100+ points and being on the optimal at 8.4k/7.8k. Roberson/Nzechukwu could be a loser leaves town fight. Combined they've lost 5 of their last 6, and Roberson has been stopped in the 2nd, 1st, and 1st his last 3. Could be a boring prodding fight unless one of them fights like their career depends on it (it does). Neither is a high scorer, I'll have minimum exposure here. Onama fought Armfield back in 2018. They went the distance, but I like Onama to win ITD here. He's won 4 of his last 5 ITD and has real potential. I hated the fight Gore fought vs Battle in the TUF finale. Thought he was a much better fighter that didn't let his hands go (had won 3 of 4 inside the distance before that). I expect a much better outing today from him, and like him ITD after Armfield took the fight on short notice. Turcios likely by decision. Mullarkey has that dog in him, fucking Michael Johnson was proclaiming himself the best in the world after knocking out Allan Patrick last fight. He was on a 4 fight losing streak before that. I like people who fight for my money, I expect early and often takedowns from Mullarkey, scoring 100+ points at low ownership and likely the best scorer in the 9k range. Sherman/Vanderaa is another loser leaves town fight. Same analysis. Does either guy go for it? I think Sherman will, he trains with much better people. I'll get risky here and say Sherman by 1st round KO. If that doesn't happen, I expect a boring ass fight. Next fight gets tricky. I've really liked what I've seen out of Silva de Andrade the last two fights, the guy brings it. Scary going vs a Nurmagomedov though. I'll be exposed to both, but moreso to Silva de Andrade. If he wins at 7k he's obviously on the optimal on an 11 fight card. Another tricky fight. I was opposite of Borralho his last fight and felt like a fucking idiot. Petrosyan is similar to Mullarkey though where he's a dog. Guy didn't stop against Robocop last fight, with a completely busted face. I'll be more exposed to Borralho but will have both in lineups. Why is RDA such a big dog? That doesn't make sense to me. At 7.2k he'll likely be top 3 in ownership. Most of that will be from me. I'll have a couple lineups with Fiziev as insurance, but he's a low volume guy with no takedowns in his game. I like RDA to take him into deep waters and maybe get a late round sub or win on the cards. Either way, I'd expect multiple takedowns and a big score from RDA.
