I wonder how many russian players went back this offseason. I know all the Blues russians stayed in here , except for Kostin. There was speculation he'd play in the KHL next year anyway
Better be ready to take a vacation in Georgia (no visa needed for Russians) and then bounce to North America.
I wasnt gonna listen, but I guess I will! I kind of dont like Seraveli It wouldnt surprise me. There's a lot of overlap w him and Perunovich. Idk how viable it is w two small LHDs who can struggle defensively at times. Also in Blues news - Pains me to say it, but I think they need to trade Tarasenko.
Picks 16-21 had some decent players with hedo being the best of them. Also Crawford was better than redd imo just based on longevity and impact
since nothing is going on other than NHL players possibly being imprisoned in Russia, now is the time to be aggrieved about terrible NHL reffing. Surely this is the worst call of all time right? They even reviewed it
That one is certainly up there. Here is my favorite Panthers one. It's completely meaningless because it came in a season where the Panthers finished at or near the bottom of the standings, but it's just so ludicrously bad and they even gave the goal to the player who interfered with the Panthers goalie.
most egregious bad calls involve contact and refs focusing on multiple things at once. I can almost understand those. I still don't get this one
Seems to be that season where every agent of a top 6 C with potential to move is now creating rumors about the Rangers to drive up their clients’ price. Fun stuff.
Bonkers prediction: Montreal ends up trading down and uses their other picks to move back up and ends up with two top-five picks instead of #1 and later rounders Extra bonus points because nobody has ever traded up to a top-4 pick before and I want two
Really curious to see what the Kraken do with a top 5 pick, so many second round picks, and loads of cap space.
So I’ll set an over/under on trades before the draft at 4.5. What are you taking? There is all this buzz and it feels like we need one deal to break the dam, but the NHL also finds a way to always disappoint, so I’ll say under.
I doubt it happens but that would be an awesome move. I think there’s little to no gap between 1 and 5 this year.
It’s gonna be Slaf isn’t it? We have the opportunity to set up the team for the next 10 years at C by drafting Wright and they’ll draft a 2nd line Power Forward at #1 overall.
This is what scares me. Dorion gonna try and make moves to show CG he’s made the team better while at the same time making the team worse.
10 points in 31 games in Liiga would scare the shit out of me. I know the "he's playing against men argument" but he's going to play against bigger and stronger men in the NHL. If he is struggling to score in Liiga, will it translate? Giving me Rostislav Olesz vibes.
Like to see what that deal would entail. Sens don’t need to move him but a three man rotation isn’t ideal. Edit:
