Vegas league starts Thursday. No idea why but Golden State and Utah (and used to be Orlando) host 4 teams before.
The expectation is that Wiseman, Moody, and Kuminga will all play some. Wiseman recently started 5-on-5 activity, so barring a setback he will play a bit.
PHX fellas, how reliable is this guy? Would seemingly throw a wrench in the KD pursuit. There's been similar talk on the Indy end for a bit as well
He used to be pretty plugged into the ownership side of things but lately been throwing shit at the wall with the Suns. I think KD to the Suns is dead, because the Nets don’t want Ayton and James Jones/Robert Sarver are too dumb to pull off a complicated 3 or 4 teamer(and Jones way overvalues his own roster). So Ayton moving on separately is probably the most likely outcome at this point
Yet all our fans are sitting there having a wank everytune Flex opens his mouth saying KD is still 99% coming to Phoenix. I don't think Ayton's market is that great. But I don't even know if Sarver and Jones are dumb enough to take back Myles Turner who no one in this league has wanted in trade the past couple of years.
Ayton to Indiana might help if it turns into Turner for either Phoenix or Brooklyn. Would assume the price at this point is any 1st round pick.
MG2 why are guys like Bey and Cade playing in the summer league for Detroit? Hayes, Ivey, and Stewart make more sense but i would think the former two are more established. I'm pretty excited for tomorrow night's game. Detroit has a stacked roster and Portland is bringing a bunch of guys who will be on the main team (Greg Brown and Keon Johnson as reserves, Jabari Walker and Brandon Williams on two-ways, Trendon Watford as a likely backup) plus obviously seeing Sharpe.
I don't think Cade, Bey or Stewart are playing. I'd be a bit surprised if Hayes is. I think they're all just on the roster to practice with the young guys. Not sure if Duren is playing or not, either. I don't think that deal has officially gone through yet, so technically he's not on the Pistons yet.
interesting, alright. i guess i don't really know the rules but i figured you could just practice with whomever.
same. I have no clue what the point of it all is. Maybe they're keeping the door open just in case. But I'd be surprised if any of them played. I don't know what the point of it would be.
Cade is not playing. That's come out today. Never expected him to anyway. I'd guess Bey isn't going to play either, but I could see Stewart and definitely Killian play.
the lack of trade interest in Turner has been from the Indiana side the past few years, not vice versa. They've been very stubborn about holding onto him the past 2-3 years
my long standing theory on thinking white americans stink at ball is gonna be proven correct yet again
What move is there to be made when everyone in Miami thinks their main trade chip is basically Donovan Mitchell, and everyone else thinks that person is basically Jordan Clarkson
