i always find it a little off how people will ignore the deaths related to policies that are enacted but lose their mind at assassinations both are political violence, but people really don't carry the same heat for the former as the latter
Go check Twitter. Ukraine flag bios w resistance hash tag bios mourning him srs. Could be Langley profiles but the sentiment exists.
Abe had plenty of problems/issues and was certainly hard right, but he wasn't Trumpy at all. He was at least a legitimate and relatively serious politican.
Our beloved Abe was a Good Guy but not a Good Guy With A Gun, so he loses to Cool Guy With A Homemade Shotgun
they're called comfort women because that is the literal translation of the Japanese name for them. it's not the press, this is the correct term for these very specific women in this very specific time period. called it. their nationalism is off-the-charts crazy.
i guess i get the sentiment that political assassinations aren't ideal but i do not at all agree that jokes about it aren't funny, particularly when an objectively awful person is the victim
I’m not really interested in sifting through the differences anymore. They are straight up evil humans who profit by catering and stoking the desires of the more belligerently ignorant at best, and also evil at worst, humans of the world by exploiting and oppressing and villainizing the most vulnerable humans of the world. From the very bottom of my heart, fuck them all. Hell fuck a lot of political leaders who pretend to be progressive and liberal too for that matter.
That’s fine. It’s not really related to my post. People can obviously be bad in different ways. Mitch McConnell is bad and has been horrible for America, but he’s smart and a very effective politician. Trump is awful and horrible, but he’s an idiot and relatively politically ineffective. If I’m trying to explain Abe to someone in an American context, he’s a McConnell, not a Trump.
Only on page 2. Are we still arguing? Also, put me on team right wing mfs dieing prematurely a positive
Calling for political assimilations is edgy even if the world would be a better place if they happen. The world would undeniably be a better place if Hinkley was a better shot. There are numerous individuals (whose death) via natural or violent ways would instantly be a positive. I can accept that writing that might be called edgy and I’m okay with that.
I want to make it clear I am not a proponent of assassination/political violence simply that I encourage more right-wing chucklefucks to find themselves victimized by gun violence. It’s passive voice so it’s morally a gray area
Is it really so wrong for me to wish more right wing nationalist would stumble and fall to the ground amidst a cloud of smoke and gun shots heard nearby by? Bc I feel like that’s pretty tame when I word it like that.
its japan of course the motive for a generationally important political assassination is kinda reasonable
The Moonies are/were heavily weaved into Japanese and Korean politics and Sun Myung Moon literally wanted to take over the world be called emperor. So, I think it still counts as political.
I get the pedantic urge but i really could give a fuck what the imperial Japanese called their sex slaves
this is from last year but: Also, Trump tried to sell mar-a-lago to the Moonies in 1991 https://www.businessinsider.com/mar...each-florida-preservationists-mansions-2021-6
