Haven't been in a little while but Marcel has been tremendous every time we've gone. Atlanta has a really strong steak house game overall
Just walked 0.25 miles to Kroger and back and I may as well have jumped in a pool. Can we get a humidity check jbr?
61% on a beautiful sunny beach day in the armpit of Florida. Thankfully we stay in a private community to keep all the riffraff away. Spoiler lol you can’t get away from panhandle riffraff no matter how much money you spend, but it’s a private/empty beach compared to the public alternative
I have and it is phenomenal. Went with a group of 4 guys and we got it as a side so we could all try it since it comes cut in 4 pieces. Marcel and Kevin Rathbun are 1a and 1b in my opinion. I go back and forth on which one is better but they’re both amazing. Bones is 3rd and I’m not sure where I’d rank after that.
Savvy, Eclectic, Intimate and Funky Restaurant in the heart of Buckhead Atlanta. Little bite before Ivvy?
Irie Mon is a half mile south of Apt4b on Peachtree and it's awesome as well. It's more of a takeout spot and the big ass smoker out front let's you know it's about to get real
We use Breda and they’ve been good. But regardless of who you use and what they do, you’re going to get roaches inside here and there in the warm months, especially when it’s wet. Just part of it.
For some reason my wife has been Insisting on planning a bday party/outing for me. I kept telling her I really wasn't interested. Finally I told her I'd plan something myself... Weekend before my bday I got a reservation at Kevin Rathbun Steak and a reservation at Marcel. Used Hyatt points for a suite at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead. Hotel location isn't ideal but doesn't cost me anything. Plus I don't drink so don't mind driving a few minutes for meals. First weekend away from kids in 3 years. Going to need some brunch recs.
Errybody loves Fred’s, but I just think it’s ok. Black and blue with bacon at the Vortex for the true classic burger experience. Otherwise I was a Bocado burger at the bar for lunch guy. Haven’t found a replacement yet.
biased b/c Im so close to it but I love Argosy's too I pray that Bocado makes a return but that seems unlikey Evergreen's weekend burger is the closest thing to Bocado's or the original Holeman & Finch. Im sure the H&F burger at PCM is still good. you can never go wrong at Grindhouse imo
Taylor'd BBQ's burger (only available on Thursdays) has won the ATL burger week comp 2 years running.
Fred’s Cheesesteak is really good. All of the Ford Fry places have a good burger, that’s what my dad gets every time at The Optimist when we go.
