I have some family (2) from Scotland coming in the weekend of the Bills game to stay with me and my wife. They’ve become big Chiefs fans the past few years and have never been to a game. I said if they made the trip then I would get us all tickets. I just looked at the prices. Fuck.
I'm officially going to be attending the Chargers, Bills, Raiders, and Jags home games this year. Bummed to miss the Rams game, but alas. It's very early for this, but there's a decent chance I'll have a couple tickets to sell for the Seahawks game on Christmas Eve this year. If anyone would be interested, feel free to DM me and we can revisit in a few months.
Unofficially attending the Tampa Bay game. Booked an AirBnB this week for a group of 6 of us. Now just need to figure out the tickets part.
Missed the Reiter signing. Not a bad backup plan of creed does down. Bolton taking 32 is a mix of sad for HB being gone and happy for him to get his number, with a dash of proud approval of the choice on who got to wear that number next.
Ah, didn't see that they brought him back again after he got released. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/05/11/kc-chiefs-re-sign-austin-reiter-just-days-releasing/ Carry on.
I don't know why but I am feeling pretty damn optimistic about this Offense. Losing an elite WR in Hill is a loss, but I think the depth at the position is looking pretty good. Feeling that Juju, MVS and Hardman will do well and Pat will benefit from spreading the ball around more. Just wish someone steps up as an elite ball tracker like Tyreek was. Eric Berry at his peak was one of the best players to ever wear a Chiefs uniform. It's just a damn shame he got cancer and his body fell apart. E; oh, I forgot. Jody fucking Fortson. 2022 NFL MVP.
I saw your post before the tweet loaded and thought Mitch Holthus was retiring which caused a minor panic attack.
I’m okay with not reaching a deal with Brown, if he’s not gonna accept more than what Trent Williams got, he needs to go out and play better than he did last year.
I'd like to sign Brown as well but he certainly doesn't command top-OT money. He is perfectly fine and serviceable but he isn't some sort of game changer at LT. I hope we don't feel the need to sign him at any cost just because we had draft capital locked up in him.
He did good but didn't play on a level like Trent Brown. Giving him more than Brown on average but not filling it up with guaranteed dollars was the right move. Gambling with the tag when you play on the line is risky. Not gonna fault him for betting on himself but he should really take the money.
I'm the glad the Chiefs made the offer they did and are sticking with it. I also don't blame Brown for turning it down as, barring an injury, I bet he gets the amount he's seeking in the end.
Sure. Will never fault a player for choosing to gamble on themselves. Would just blow to go down with a knee injury on a contract year. As for his LT ranking, I have him in the 5-10 range.
Not too surprising. Spags was reluctant to use Bolton early last year even though the other options were trash. Sometimes he has to be smacked in the face to go with the obvious choice.
Lots of buzz around Pacheco so far. I hope this isn't a Noah Gray pt. 2 situation. He got talked up so much last training camp and then barely touched the field.
