if the Democrats had a strong, charismatic candidate to run against DeSantis I would feel good about their chances but it doesn't seem like they're going to try particularly hard to take advantage of that. Most Repubs adore DeSantis.
I think desantis beats Biden or Harris at this juncture. The dems only know how to run an antitrump campaign and I don’t believe independents have accurately categorized desantis as a dangerous piece of shit (ie I think he may trend too positively w that group for them to vote D) unless dems get insane turnout I would bet on a close desantis win hence my desire for trump to win the R primary just my .02

Bakery in our area was going to host some type of drag show yesterday. Starting a week before the event, all sorts of threats started towards the business, owner, and employees. Friday night, the business was vandalized (bricks through windows) and the Saturday show was canceled and bakery was shut down for a day. Bakery reopened today. There has been a consistent line all day with people waiting an hour or more for baked goods. Pretty damn good baked goods too (we went at 9am). Oh, and the people who did have already been caught. And it’s being prosecuted as a hate crime. Stupid fuckers.
