haven’t watched tonight but didn’t Vince normally just scream in those guys ears the whole show? could see improvement there.
ANd you could use NXT like the NBA does with the G League. Experiment with new things and see how it works out before taking it to the big league
Turned on Raw. It just feels slow. Predictable. I'm sure it will get better and if it does I'll tune in again, but just couldn't make it through the whole show.
THe first hour wasn't. It got bogged down and lost its rhythm when they had the Rey Mysterio celebration
Smackdown is going to be the show with the clearest improvement as it won't be hamstrung with the third hour dragging it down
One of the better RAWs in a very long time. I was hoping they wouldn’t try and force Paul into a baby face. Nobody, especially NY was going to get behind him. But we got Mayrese.. smoke baby steps in the correct direction.
I liked how they had plentiful amounts of wrestling in the first hour. It’s like they finally remembered that they have this whole in-ring product thing to work with.
Judgment Day’s colors are black and a particularly eccentric shade of purple. And I guess they need to incorporate the color scheme without drastically altering his attire. I do think he’s taken more seriously in pants, to be fair.
It’ll take a month or 2 to phase out the remnants of Vince’s storylines so we obviously didn’t get immediate improvement last night although it did feel materially different. I am very optimistic about the new creative direction. That said, if Clash at the Castle isn’t a triple threat with both Sheamus and Drew McIntyre with a shot at the title in Cardiff, everyone should be forced out.
Roman making fun of Theory because Vince is gone is the most ironic promo in the history of wrestling
The thing about Vince is that he was such a control freak over every minor detail. Next to nothing happened on screen that he didn't sign-off on. Now that he’s not there to give his seal of approval to every little thing that happens on screen, it stands to reason that eventually the screen will be filled with things he didn’t approve of. It won’t happen all at once, but a little at a time. Eventually, say in 2025, fans will look at the product and compare it to 2022 and realize how different it has become, hopefully for the better.
I tuned in last night. The giant animated shit during the entrances, I can't do it. It's so bad I had to turn it off.
Small shit like doing away with the entrance of a wrestler cut to a promo video then backstage promo and finally to commercial as wrestler stands in ring for 15 minutes. I think we see more outside the arena and backstage arrival stuff like we got with Rey. As others mention it’s going to take a few months to change some direction of guys. I really hope Dijavck gets revamped with Finn and Priest. I think that would be a great foursome. He’s insanely talented in ring and deserves better than what Vince handed him.
Didn't realize he was dating Rhea. He's done quite well for himself, Alexa and now Rhea. Quite different ends of the spectrum though
Even without the hgh I see he’s always been a strong lad. Deadlifting big ass rush with one hand not easy.
watched NXT for the first time in a few weeks.. Zoey Stark is horrendous on the mic... that was a tough promo I'm a fan of Toxic Attraction. Solo Sikoa is ready to go right to the Blood Line... He's money The last two programs for Bron... woof Vinci needs to go full Rick Martel and get him some "Perfume" to spray around. Really go all in on this gimmick. Because as is.. pass
- I think Zoey just needs to slow down on her delivery just a tad. - They better not fuck up this Cora Jade/Roxanne Perez feud - Was cool to see Alundra Blayze and the women’s tag titles. I want Kayden and Katana to win them - I’m starting to like Tony D’Angelo. - I also like Indi Hartwell; however, she looks lost without Candice LeRae - Vinci vs Chase was a great match
Jade was in the PC and rejected... Outside of that he's correct. Having places to work is awesome for the business. Establishing yourself and finding who you are as a character/act is great. The whole name change this is 100% business and how WWE will profit off it's talent thats being given a world wide platform. In 2022 and probably the last 10 years its been proven that you don't have to start in the WWE PC you have dozens of indy organizations, ROH, AEW, TNA along with Mexico and Japan. And now that Vince is gone I do believe wrestlers will have more say in presentation and story. Again all very fair and correct points by CM
Actually Jade rejected WWE because of family reasons, having to move, and having to give up income streams she had My MJ laughing was mostly because of him saying Veronica Pepperstone some stupid ass name lol
