Anyone tried the Rare Hare 17 year? Saw one at my local store for a little over $500, not worth it to me, but anyone like it?
Appreciate it, but it’s not worth putting one of you through the mailing ordeal. Finally found two for $99 each. They’re gifts anyway.
Yep, all within Uber distance generally. My list: Downtown spirits Esquin Bobs Lake City Total Wine QFC Grocery Metropolitan Market Safeway Liquor (1st Ave location)
Store about 30 minutes away that I never typically go to has Elijah Craig Private Barrel Barrel Proof for $86. If I didn't already have 2 bottles of it I'd be tempted. Might should go over there anyways
I like the barrel proof rye I had a few months ago. I don't know that I'd buy it at $80 if there is a bottle of stellum rye sitting at less than $50 though.
I just got a bottle of 1792 and it definitely punches above its weight for that price. Also have had several full proof single barrels that were all very good.

Does "full-bodied sweet dessert wine made from late-ripened grapes affected by Botrytis, this process adds rich honey and dried orchard fruit notes to the wine " or "a fortified wine made of fresh grape juice blended with Cognac offering rich flavors of dark fruit. Produced exclusively in France’s Cognac region" sound better? They both sound good to me. And fuck a double oaked
