that's very odd considering how this recruitment started out - it was Love's dad who put forth a decent amount of effort with ND to get his son recruited by them back in Feb/March

He’s been around and played the middle so long the everyday people just listen to him even if they don’t like him Loy is Pete. A young upstart who has mastered the art of saying nothing to the point where people listen but hold him to a higher standard than others brocade he talks a good game. Singer is the Libertarian. Weird following who throws shit out and people have no idea if he knows anything and doesn’t really take him that serious.
I love these kids getting their money and a lot of this is on the NCAA, but imagine what this class could have been without NIL?

This includes schools besides Notre Dame, but using the word "reevaluate" never seems to work out for the original school.
Keon seems like a great kid, his mom seems great, I believe it’s a single parent household Berkley Prep is full of stupid money, I know 15+ guys from there, I imagine Keon has been told he can get stupid money, I imagine it would be great to level the playing field with his classmates for once- we have to understand that mentality this is where we see what ND’s NIL program is capable of doing- I think ND will make it work and he ends up in SB at the end of the day. I really buy the Dante Moore ND bag was significant, that was in April let’s see what they can put together 4 months later for Keon

I think it’s become pretty obvious ND won’t give guaranteed bags while more and more schools elsewhere are willing to do so. And now our guys are starting to get picked off right and left because of it.
ND doesn't lead with NIL but rival team sites, national reporters, and D3 have said we are uhh very competitive in NIL which shockingly is backed up by our very good recruiting results. ND recruits across the whole country, our recruits are way more likely to look around because of that this isn't unusual. Its happening to Ohio State right now as well, some of their cruits are looking as well- the common theme: the kids are out of state, out of area Don't listen to our media its controlled, ND is fine Also ND is telling its media to walk the line on Keon and Bowen right now- that's obvious
Our pitch is clearly "You can go get $X anywhere, if you come here that could be $Xx10" It'll work with kids that would already look at ND.
i don't agree w/ a lot of D3's views but he's spot on here, some people just need to calm down and take a break from recruiting we literally did this entire process in March/Apr when Keeley and Peyton was visiting all the same schools (and a few others) and they were still committed afterwards...let's just wait and see where things end up in Dec
The truth is there is so so much that goes on behind the scenes and the reporters are so tied in to any one program no one knows the full story. It’s not like there are agents etc out there to leak shit - it’s the kid, his family and some coaches and the reporters on the nd side are only talking to one
But hey, coach d said he has tons of stories over the last 10 years of nd coaches not calling back recruits and them flipping (mentioned Ronald Darby as one) so at least that problem has been solved
