I made my point and I’ll stop now. I bought a Wii that I never played so I don’t know why I even cared
The dumbest, most contrived shit in all of Star Wars is when Luke fought to the death against Kylo Ren, then they were like sike IT WAS ONLY A ILLUSIONS, and then were like okay but yes now he will just fade into Bolivian all within like 2 minutes of film time. But him relentlessly dunking on snot nosed brat Kylo with every line in that scene was pretty great
I think this thread under estimates how many gamers today have never played or even heard of KOTOR. A modern remake with updated visuals and also ditching the shit turn based combat would do well. Unfortunately it's probably never seeing the light of day so alas, it doesn't matter.
Now you're making a different game. So just go ahead and make a completely different story and everything
Not sure if this has been discussed, but ViceTV has launched a docuseries on the OT and Prequels, here’s the first episode:
There's not a jury on Tattooine that would convict him for killing some savages after they kidnapped his mother, probably raped her, and definitely allowed her to die. This isn't Coruscant. He'll get off on a technicality.
Just another classic example of a different justice system for those who have midichlorians and those who have not.
Thought that was a weird response. Quick google search and of course there’s 100+ page threads on Star Wars forums of rape vs didn’t rape. Weird stuff guys. Anyways, here was google stop response: Just to save this topic from scandal: The Tuskens didn't take Shmi to rape her as they find exposed skin disgusting. Tuskens are humanoid but not near-human. They are genetically incompatible with humans. It doesn't mean they didn't rape her but it is unlikely.
I'm not at all surprised that a fanbase that has a 5,000 entry on Wookiepedia about the dork that accidentally banged his head in A New Hope has an official take on whether or not the Sand People had their way with Anakin's mom.
Read the new book Padawan this morning. About Obi wan when he was a Padawan. I had low expectations because it’s ‘young adult’ but really loved it. It’s really short. Has tons of cool tie ins to other canon stuff. You can finish it in like 2.5 hours depending on reading speed. Pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend
What is it that you think they were doing with a person that they just leave tied up to a pole all night?
Andor looks good but again it's a story that I already know how it ends. Hopefully someday Disney will drop this same old timeline but I'm losing hope.
Finally made it to Hollywood Studios with the fam, the Star Wars stuff was great. We got through the ROTR line in 10 mins, which was awesome.
Damnit I cannot wait for Andor. I love Rogue One, may be my favorite of the movies to watch, but I was skeptical when they first announced. The trailers have looked great and I'm excited.
I do enjoy seeing the war side of things. The boots on the ground aspect or whatever you want to call it.
Same. In hindsight I should have been excited from the jump. The series is basically everything I loved about Rogue One in episodic form.
Mmm, I bet you'll love the Ep. 1 tie-ins with the whole political drama that Mon Mothma looks like she'll bring.
I’m cautiously optimistic for Andor. People internally are amped and it was approached more like a movie production (shooting on location, etc.) and was largely driven by the UK side. fingers crossed
That’s what got me most excited from the trailers. This isn’t shot exclusively on that Stagecraft screen thing they invented for the Mandalorian. No pretending to jog through a tiny alley while a robot slowly chases you in this one.
Rogue One is maybe the one Disney-era movie everyone agrees is at least good, with some saying great, and others calling it the best since Empire. All that to say: What the fuck are you doing not seeing it?
