I get this a lot from previous tv series or movies I've seen forever ago. Gonna take a stab in the dark you watched Peaky Blinders at some point.
Yeah I've watched it... finished the last season right after it came out a month or so ago. Could be from that. Could be just cause it's a hugely popular song that I briefly heard in passing recently without realizing it.
Said it in the stand up thread I think but Stavvy is blowing up and rightly so he's hilarious. New special on YouTube dropped about a month ago.
him hiring a new social media person to post clips on youtube/tiktok now was very smart his old special was a little clunky, he wasn't ready to pop off then, but now hes definitely there
My ig / fb reel feed is literally nothing but 30 second long standup clips from 70 different comedians
One of my favorite recently discovered twitter accounts. Footy Scran (@FootyScran) / Twitter Posts the best and worst of food from soccer stadiums around the world. (Also makes you realize how absurdly overpriced most gameday fare is in the US) Footy Scran on Twitter: "Sausage and bread with a pint at TJ Sokol Slavonice (Czech lower leagues) 75 Koruna (£2.50) https://t.co/VJoPQQspIe" / Twitter Footy Scran on Twitter: "Pie, chips, peas and gravy at Matlock town (@Matlock_TownFC) £4 https://t.co/Emv420Ad3Z" / Twitter Footy Bevs on Twitter: "Bag of water at Hanoi FC (@ClupHanoi) 10,000 Vietnam dong (£0.35) https://t.co/DpJ38I7rm5" / Twitter Footy Scran on Twitter: "Currywurst mit pommes at Bayern Munich (@FCBayernEN @fcbayern) €7 (£5.90) https://t.co/RzbktJknrr" / Twitter
Your formatting there is atrocious but yeah this is amazing. I’m 100 comments deep on a thread about mushy peas
All the wigan kebabs and smack barm pey wets aside, the most disturbing footy scran is when the Brits do pulled pork. It always looks like shredded hot dogs.
I'm on a PC and not my mac right now and didn't used to have to embed tweets to get them to show, and forgot I do now : l
You old timers remember when my ex girlfriend came on here after we broke up and we all just trashed her for days? Good times. Not sure why that just popped into my head
It got lost in the crash. We had broken up but she took my phone when she left so she was able to find this place. She made an account named "thatgirl" or something. She came in and told everyone how she was definitely over me which was obvious by her stalking my message boards. She also tried to defend herself for taking my patio umbrella. It was pretty funny. Everyone dunked on her over and over and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Oh yeah and she sued me after we broke up and some lawyers on here helped me counter her, and they all laughed at her for her stupid petition she filed. I think it was Duval
At least it ended with everyone dunking on her. Also, wild move on her part to steal your phone bruh.
How many flare ups from ex’s have happen on this board over the years? I know the dating thread got axed because of a wild situation. But this and the story above are the only things that come to mind.
When your doorbell rings unexpected and it's someone you don't know at the door, do you answer? I feel like it's just natural to always answer, but why? Fwiw, I usually don't. We live in a place where we get a lot of uninvited doorbell rings, and 90% of them are asking for my money in some capacity, and 9% of the time they want me to join a religion. The only time it's ever been a "glad we answered that" moment is when they were filming a movie nearby. The whole film camp/trailers for the actors and everything else was set up across the street and they wanted to let us know what was happening. That was fun.
My parents decided to do some stupid HP ink monitoring subscription, and shocker, it doesn’t work. They’re on some plan with a set number pages and it either runs out or ink refills never show up. I told them letting a company monitor their printing and charge them instead of just buying ink was stupid.
Never. Can’t remember the last time I answered the door for someone I didn’t know and was glad I did.
If the doorbell rings in my neighborhood, it’s almost always kids selling stuff for the team/band/club. I have more coupons to local restaurants than I ever will use now.
