We talked to John in a diner in bumfuck, Indiana. John is a small business owner who has had to double his workforce due to the construction projects exploding around the US thanks to Biden’s investment into infrastructure and green tech. John, a MAGA supporter, no longer has the time he once had to spend with his 3 kids(Kaley, Aiden, and John Jr).
when looking at the jobs report you need to take it with a grain of salt because quantitative easing is important to the core competency of industrial synergy. thanks to unfettered EBITDA we can't be so quick to judge hyperlocal regulations that affect potential movement in the financial ecosystem
Well sure, but what about all the people not working sitting at home collecting that unemployment bonus? ~People I know, seriously
In the echo chamber of alternative facts this is brilliant if not predictable. Why not set your own benchmarks? lol consequences.
Biden out here feeling himself w the aviators, boasting about the jobs report, gas coming down ect. Also thumping his chest about reducing the deficit. Infuriating.
In this scenario, I disagree. Boast about jobs, gas prices coming down. Inflation slowing, going down. You dont really need to pander to the deficit hawks. Just omit it Of course Biden likely is a deficit hawk so it's all a moot point.
538 still has the Senate as 59% (slightly favored) to stay in Dem control while 80% Republican chances to retake the House (fwiw, this was high 80’s until the last few weeks as primaries are clarifying the races). There are going to be so many impeachments. 41% chance for R’s to win both 39% Sen (D)/House (R) 19% D’s both
A big function of capitalism is making things seem scarce that aren't scarce at all to drive the price up
Posted this story yesterday from NPR about battery technology that we transferred to China. Would run on solar and power a whole house. NPR
I kind of had the interview on in the background, but one line that stuck out in the interview (at this link) was that China is ahead of us in both manufacturing and engineering (in that guy's opinion). The article/interview gives a lot of details.
Amazon will have the layout of every house that has a roomba. Blue prints provided to militarized police departments across the country to carry out no knock warrants in a safe manner.
It's also mapping out the interior of any house that it's used in. So they have the ring to make a map of the outside and this to make map of the inside and Alexa to listen to everything. really cool
I agree, but 1% seems so low. I get they are trying to make the numbers work and all suck at the corporate teet., but these buybacks need to go to workers. I'm sure the fed would raise rates to 40% if we have some lower middle class a 10% bump
Did you go the occupational licensure route or did you go through a teacher prep program? I imagine what you teach would be considered CTE, but I also assume you have a degree.
Both. I had an occupational license to teach video and a teacher prep program to teach English. All I had to do first was pass the English and PLT Praxis tests.
My newly formed district in AZ is going to send this guy to Washington in November. First generation American from a Mexican family and is strictly running a fuck immigrants platform because it will win in Arizona.
