just be sure not to select him and make him watch from the stands also does this mean youve chosen Real as your Liga team?
Real is the only international team I’ve felt the desire to root for. Watched them a bit on Bein sports a few years back and always use them in FIFA. It’s the EPL where I struggle to grasp on to a team
nice, we def need some new blood around here so welcome...ESPN has the broadcast rights for La Liga in the US now so you might consider an ESPN+ subscription if you don't already have one as far as the EPL goes just tune in and watch whenever you're able and you'll naturally gravitate towards a team you enjoy seeing play
Yeah I saw that about ESPN+. That’s nice. Kind of annoying the champions league is on paramount but I think most of those games are weekdays so it’s not like I’ll be able to watch much anyways
UEFA is actually accepting bids for the Champions League media rights this week so it's yet to be determined who will be broadcasting/streaming them moving forward. Fox, Disney/ESPN, CBS/Paramount, NBC, Amazon & Apple are all expected to be options and UEFA has said they're open to splitting the deal between multiple companies so who the hell knows where it'll be. But you're right, depending on your job it can be difficult to watch live at 3pm on a Wednesday.
Stephen William hasn’t posted in a couple of years but his site is now soccerfollowers.org. I believe the people that ordered from him said the quality was surprisingly decent for the price and on par with the $90 ‘fan version’ that are sold by the actual manufacturers, though that was several years ago.
He’s been back and has posted under some other name since then. The last time I remember was some sort of “guess the final score” game he did during the ‘18 World Cup and he sent a handful of people a free jersey of our choosing. I never wore it but remember it being fairly legit quality. You might be better off going the fan gear route and grabbing t-shirts, jackets, hoodies etc.
I’m not too interested maybe a pair of shorts. I was just genuinely curious because I thought it was hilarious back when I read this guys posts years ago on here
They pair seamlessly with cargo shorts so you could easily just wear it over your 1998 Andy Katzenmoyer jersey
Isco signed with Sevilla so hopefully he can regain some of the form he previously had under Lopetegui Miguel Gutierrez sold to Girona which sucks since they’re just Man City South but they retained half of his rights and can rebuy until 2028 and Camavinga officially changed his number to 16 so Goose can finally go ahead and pull the trigger on that jersey
thank you god it’s finally matchday, congratulations Goose I fully expect to be the same XI as the CL final
I think it'll happen but Carlo mentioned several times about this being a continuation of last season/for those players so it's not surprising he started the same XI. Rudiger is too good to sit most days.
first title as captain and officially passes Raul for 2nd all time...quite the way to open the season
Tell me more about Tchouameni and anyone else that’s new besides Rudiger. Ironically signed him in my FIFA career mode not knowing he was coming
Tchouameni is a super promising young midfielder that they bought from Monaco this summer. He’s primarily played in a defensive position, in today’s formation he’s the #6 role which is the deepest of the 3 midfielders that sits between & helps shield the centerbacks. His combination of size, speed, ball winning ability, physicality & read of the game makes him an ideal backup/deputy for Casemiro who is the normal starter at that spot and arguably the best in the world at it. Tchouameni is also very skilled on the ball for someone his size and his speed and passing ability allow him to also play in more of an 8 too which is a slightly more advanced, ball progressing, two way role. He’s only 22 and already almost a shoe-in to make the French National team for the World Cup which is pretty wild considering they’re by far the deepest roster in the world and have enough talent for a B and probably even a C squad to qualify. He’s got the potential to become one of the absolute best midfielders in the world in a few years if he’s able to remain healthy and keep developing. Another (relatively) new player is Eduardo Camavinga who was brought in last year from Rennes in France. He’s another Frenchman but even younger at only 19. His skill set is fairly similar to Tchouameni but he’s not quite as big. He can also play in a deeper midfield role but perhaps his greatest strength is his skill on/ability to advance the ball so ideally he ends up playing wider and further up the field. He too has worlds of potential and could also end up as a mainstay in the Real midfield for the next decade if things go to plan.
