Even if they don’t think it’s real - at least they’ve seen it. It’s impossible to watch that and not see the hypocrisy. “It’s different” No it isn’t and you know it.
So, if I may jump ahead, would you prefer I not have a different view at this point? Or does it make you feel better to be able to say "I told you so"? I'm not sure what my posts from over 6 years ago mean at this point.
I’m glad Seavie has changed his mind and now realizes that women and girls need safe access to abortions as part of their general health care. I hope he also now recognizes that the GOP was always working against the health and well being of the overwhelming amount of Americans.
Will there be even one GOP politician on any of the Sunday morning news shows (outside of Fox News) tomorrow?
Re: the latter not my point at all I would prefer you change your views. I welcomed it back in 2016, obviously. I certainly asked tonight in good faith where you stood and all you said was you did not vote for Trump, rather than offer clarification or expound in any substantive way. So yea, not at fault for being perplexed that a guy who said Gays aren't Humans & SCOTUS should do something to eradicate them....would suddenly wonder why America is ripping at the seams. We tried telling you a Demagogue was on the ballot.
Well, it establishes that you’re a Republican, and likely biased about the topic at hand considering America is currently what you had previously wanted.
You knew my stance before you quoted the posts. There was nothing "good faith" about your question. It was "gotcha" post, pure and simple. And hyperbole, much? Nothing good faith about that, either. But I'm not. I haven't voted as one since (honestly not sure), at least 2012?
And you can counsel everyone you know or encounter to never get an abortion but you shouldn’t be able to force a 10 year old girl that was raped by a family member to carry the resulting pregnancy to term. That’s what choice is about. Taking it away is anti-female patriarchal bullshit.
I think it's hard to make it up the democratic political ladder so people have to make compromises here and there and prob lose part of themselves along the way.
It’s going to be fantastic when half the classified info he has is FBI files created during his tenure to get blackmail on republican politicians.
“Unlawful search”. Bitch, shut up. I can guarantee this dude was fine with the Breonna Taylor execution.
Trump won’t give back the rest of the classified material until he gets a pardon for any crimes. Checkmate, libs
Im married to an Arizonan and as a former resident of the state I have only one thing to say. This is one of the most accurate posts in this boards history.
got a buddy who flew unmanneds out of Shaw and killed a lot of people with hellfire missiles. spoiler: those pilots are chuds.
i'm lit on a saturday night but that actually seems pretty relevant. i think it was the h.r. mcmaster dump to the new yorker which revealed that trump wouldn't read anything other than index cards. herbert mcmaster can eat my ass for 1000 years for making people refer to him by his initials
That's quite a nuanced discussion. Yes and no. Do I believe abortion and homosexuality are on their own morally wrong? Yes. Just like many other things. But that isn't what y'all are asking. Am I trying to deny anyone's right to live? No. That seems to be a favorite talking point these days. Do I believe people being told how they can live their lives, if they aren't hurting anyone else is correct, no I don't. That doesn't mean I agree with their lifestyle but at the same time doesn't mean I think I personally should be able to dictate how they live. There's a lot of room in between those positions, and I make these statements at a macro level. Gun rights I definitely don't feel the same way. No need for a normal everyday civilian to have access to what they currently have access to. In a perfect world we'd be better off if certain people didn't have access to those things. Doesn't solve the root problem in my opinion, but it's a start.
https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018/04/30/mcmaster-and-commander this is the thing if anyone cares. obviously this is all from mcmaster fwiw allegedly they gave trump the briefing book every night knowing that he wouldnt read it
That's fair. I disagree on the morally wrong part, I don't think the way I live my life is right and the way someone else lives is wrong, but at least you're not overly oppressive. "Right to live" is open to interpretation though. I mean good you're not wanting then killed but are you cool with them openly living their life or should they just keep it to themselves and hide it? Thoughts on bills like the one in Florida where a teacher can't even have a picture of their same sex spouse? Should a male teacher be able to say he went to dinner with his husband the night before?
