DL and WR are my biggest worries, particularly WR. Sategna is standing out, and Haselwood is finally getting healthy and seems to have figured out the drop issues. Landers has great speed and can be that deep threat, but also has issues with drops. My nephew mentioned Landers as being a stud in camp so far. Ketron Jackson has a lot of potential, and I hope we get a chance to see it this year. Mbake and McAdoo have had some nice days too I’ve heard. No real proven guy and explosiveness is a concern, but maybe Sategna can be that guy. Guys like Jacquayln Crawford and Bryce Stephens are fast but I just don’t see them breaking out and contributing much on offense. Warren Thompson is big but has dick hands. OL, CB, S, RB, K/P, and QB are all strengths. LB is solid and DL and WR are question marks. I knew Davillier would be a dog when I saw him play HS hoops. He got kicked out of a game for starting a brawl. Our secondary, from a talent standpoint, is probably the most talented I can remember top to bottom. There’s so much depth and competition. When you’ve got guys like Brini and McGlothern that have started at DB for UGA and LSU and they’re fighting for roles here, you’re in damn good shape. Ty Crawford absolutely has to start on the OL. Wagner has battled through a lot, but from a talent and technique standpoint it’s not close. Maybe Wagner is a little better with the playbook, but imo that’s it. vibes are really good on the team though and there’s a lot of confidence. No freebies on the schedule though, so they’re gonna have to prove it right out of the gate.
The schedule is never going to be easy and with the rise of these “super conferences” I don’t see them ever being easier. Every season is going to be a hog team that has to come out and prove itself every game. If Pittman leads this team to 9+ wins again this year, I think we will have the right leadership to battle what will be a daunting schedule every year forever.
They were scheduled in 2018 and 2019. Most of these non con games are scheduled anywhere between 3-10 years in advance. Yurachek has been here since 2017 I think.
Absolutely despise this school. They have this train horn that they blare at a deafening level for every first down and then blow it for like 30 seconds for every touchdown. We played them like 4 times in 3 years when my nephew was in school. They’d coach their kids to grab his dick and twist it in dog piles, so he got up and punched one of them and got flagged/almost tossed.
Byu is the power 5/byu/notre dame game that every school has to have. Cincinnati is just unlucky that they’re good now
sooooo i cant find anyone to go to the byu game with me. i'll be going solo and have an extra ticket who wants to party in provo
What’s the date? I may be in Phoenix or San Diego that week and can make a pit stop in Provo for the weekend before going home…
land in salt lake around noon that friday. was planning on just doing solo stuff there friday and then heading to provo on saturday
not sure yet; called razorback ticket office and bought two tickets. just says reserved seats but doesnt say section or anything. they said tickets will be emailed a couple of weeks before the game
will be in San Diego the week after. May fly early into SLC and I too would like to party. I’ll cop my own ticket to the game if needed.
Not sure if it will matter. Partying in UT in both August and October is going to suck. Might want to pack your own party favors.
Ok, bturns was the only one to put his chips on the table. Time for the rest of you fuckers to ante up. I’m calling 9-3 for the season.
But on a serious note, I may be willing to head to SLC. Buy wife a new car, I get a fb game trip sounds fair right?
I am hopeful anyone who makes the trip has a blast but we used to have an office in Utah and everyone who traveled there from other areas talked about how hard it was to find a decent bar or get a drink. I am hopeful Provo being a college town has fixed that.
Lmao ain’t nobody trying to hang out in Provo Show up right before kickoff and leaving as soon as game is over
We’re going to the BYU game then doing national parks the week after. Is Provo really that bad? Maybe we should just stay in SLC fri/sat
i think the move is to stay in SLC and travel to and from provo on game day thoughts on a tmb ark contingent renting a party bus on game day from SLC to Provo and then from Provo to SLC after the game?
Since my wife and I are probably striking out early Sunday to try to hit the parks we’re just going to stay in Mormonville I think. 5k hyatt points a night and it’s an hour closer to Zion, Bryce, etc
