Bruce and I were watching the game. I set a baseball down and he moved right beside it and wrapped his tail around it. I guess it’s his now.
He swatted at me and did a quick bite. Then proceeded to knock the ball off and chase it. I believe it’s under the couch now. Where all things go to be lost.
…aaaaaand they have giardia. My lovely wife has been on med duty while I’m out of town. She’s so not happy about it.
Much like your feet it's not a big deal. Average men's shoe size is somewhere around 10.5 to 11 (15-20% bigger)
I’m allergic to cats. So I’ve hated being around them obviously. My brother brought his chonk of a cat to my place and I don’t think I could have ever loved an animal more. She sleeps and wants lovins and doesn’t cause any commotion. I’m in love
Just dropped my 15 year old rescue off at the vet. She’s been like family for all these years. Noticed her drooling Saturday night, and she wouldn’t come out of the closet yesterday. She did come out for a bite to eat and a lot of water after hiding all day — used her box. Hoping it’s just a bad tooth.
I understand that. When Bryant needed emergency surgery, it felt like the longest night of my life and that my wife and I were on the brink of divorce
When she was very young she had a growth removed from her throat, so yes. But we’re talking nearly 13-14 years ago.
One of my cats gets excited anytime you bring laundry around her. So when I have a piece of clothing that is time to throw away, I just give it to her and she purrs like crazy.
So in the window is the only place Shadow will roll over to get a belly rub. ANd whenever she does, she always likes to kick her right leg. It's funny to me, maybe not others, but weird.
He certainly acts like one. He's a rescue. Fucking RAN the cat room at the SPCA. Came in with his brother, who was adopted for being so sweet. Staff told us Frank was not always friendly, so of course he immediately comes to me, and he's more attached to me (and I, him) than I really imagined was possible.
Since our cat passed my 5year old keeps saying he wants another cat. Last night he even said "and then when that one dies I want another and when that one dies I want another and when that one dies I want another and when that one dies I want another and when that one dies I want another......" it was cute and sad at the same time. My wife is actually mildly-mediumly allergic to cats (the last one she married into) so it's not going to happen anytime soon but I'm just glad he remembers Miller and thinks about him all of the time. oh when asked why he wants all of these cats he says "because they're so fluffy and cute"
I wasn’t paying attention and let the gray (house pissing) cat inside after her afternoon adventure…with a chipmunk in her mouth.
who? Us?? it’s crazy, they’re both totally changing colors. She’s getting darker and he’s getting both more black and more tan. And both their eyes just started getting lighter overnight the other day.
so update on this lil wild man. His name is Ferdinand and I sorta shotgunned myself into fostering him (or maybe adopting, if I can work it out). He's also got a brother or son (can't tell, obviously) - named Jimmy / Mari - who looks exactly like him but is half his size. I've been feeding them and looking after them all summer - got Jimmy fixed in July. Cool cats, Ferdinand would follow me around the yard while I did work and such. Jimmy is friendlier with an Ethiopian couple that also feeds them 2 doors down - hence the alternate name for Jimmy -- Mari is the Amharic word for honey. Anyway, Labor Day, Ferdinand was very obviously seriously ill and lying under a tarp I had covering my woodworking table. Took him to the emergency vet - he had a high fever, screaming high pulse, and no color to his gums. $750 later, turns out he had a bacterial blood infection and severe anemia (his immune system was attacking his own red blood cells) and either I took him in and gave him steroids and antibiotics or he'd likely die. So here we are, a month later, and he's kinda living in my sun room while I slowly introduce him to my elderly cat. Blood panel is fine now but he's weaning off of the roids. He's super friendly with humans but still very much a youngster and is just an absolute nut - when I let him in the rest of the house he tears around like an invading barbarian. Not sure it's going to work out (obviously don't want him to kill my old girl) and ideally I find him a home with a younger cat (or a dog) because I don't really want to put him back on the streets.
