That was probably the most ridiculous part of the Cannon order. The subpoenaed evidence being used against you in a criminal matter is the whole point of a warrant. Would be like stealing a car and then saying the police that confiscated it have to give it back to you because they can use it in an armed robbery case against you. First it wasn’t you car and second it’s evidence of a crime.
I know this was in jest but before becoming judges one was Alabama’s Solicitor General and the other was Georgia’s. One was a clerk for Kavanaugh. These are not apolitical judges and even they went out of their way to shit on Cannon.
