Regardless of how you feel about either company, it’s crazy how strong the wrestling business is these days.
I would call it stable. There's not much growth but TV shows are fading and viewership is steadily shrinking, but pro graps for the most part is a straight line

Hulkamania created modern wrestling, and the nWo was at the forefront of wrestling’s biggest era. If the nWo never existed there likely would never have been the Attitude era and who knows what happens in that scenario. Both things are equally important.
This is probably true. If left to his own devices, Vince would have Max Moon'd and Bastion Booger'd himself in to bankruptcy by the end of the 90s.
Sports/Sports Entertainment and cheap TV like reality shows and syndicated reruns is where a lot of linear TV is heading. For example, Big Bang Theory reruns at night on TBS are consistently in the .20s for the demo and outrate the vast majority of non-live programming.
Key here for me is "per year." I know he been saying in kayfabe he didn't sign an extension but saying "per year" would indicate he did.
bad news is it sounds like I got skipped over for the Tony tickets next week, but the good news is I think I'm now first in line for Full Gear in November (in Newark).
Bray seems like a more significant reveal than on a random Smackdown. Pretty sure Kross went by the white rabbit in Lucha or it could be a debuting wrestler. I’ve heard some other names tossed out. Or it could be a tease for the grand reveal at say extreme rules.
he’s said 2024 is when his contract runs out. That would mean he has multiple years left on the contract. I have a hard time believing TK would’ve bumped his pay and not years. But we just had that media scrum so who knows.
